I’m not sure I would stay here again .
Pros:

Well situated . Helpful staff .

Cons:

Service at breakfast could have been better . Sometimes it was hard to find a member of staff .
Considering the hotel was virtually empty The room they gave me was right at the end of a long corridor with a very limited view and looking at a fire exit . Loud noises coming from the heating system woke me up .

Exceptional Guernsey retreat!
Pros:

The property is of extremely high standard and staff service is exceptional. The location is great for active and mobile people, being on a steep hillside, there are many levels and stairs to negotiate and if you enjoy the beach or cliff side walks then expect the same - I was very happy!

Cons:

I stayed just 2 nights and I found that not all facilities were open both days/nights. Slightly inconvenient.

Staff was fantastic..location good and hotel very clean

Cons:

Room very lovely.. but a lot smaller than I thought from the photos.. storage was limited.. bathroom very small.. l also thought I booked a spa hotel.. but that was separate.. I thought it would be a pool plus the extras .. Limited food options in the evening.. the steak house was fantastic for a one off..but if you didn’t like Mexican you needed to leave site..

unfortunately the holiday was spoiled by our return ferry being cancelled so our stay was shortened

excellent breakfast for quality variety and portion

Cons:

Television system far too complicated
On another subject our stay was shortened by the reason below I was expecting the hotel to offer a refund (for goodwill reasons) on the day we lost but none was forthcoming

Breakfast room excellent , staff excellent. Food was very good.

Cons:

We booked this hotel because it had 3 restaurants + bars and tea rooms. But only 1 restaurant was open and that was Mexican ( which was very nice to use once) but was not actually connected or within the hotel itself, you had to walk out of the hotel and up a hill to get to it.
We also prior to arriving booked a table at the restaurant via the hotel reception but this never got relayed ? but luckily they found room for us.
We were looking forward to having evening drinks in the hotel and watching the sunset and using the restaurants on-site, but this was not possible. We were not the only guests that were disappointed about the facilities being closed on a weekend.

Pros:

Tolle Lage, schöne Zimmer, sehr hilfsbereites Personal, toller Ausgangspunkt für Touren mit dem schönsten Strand der Insel vor der Tür. Frühstück a la Card und hervorragend!!! Bushaltestelle vor der Tür.

A great relaxing stay , will be arranging a revisit in the summer months
Pros:

Lovely relaxed location, easy access to the island activities

Cons:

A little inconvenient because the spa facilities were being refurbed but the staff arranged for an alternative spa at no cost to us , transport was also FOC
