Ordentlich, aber nicht die gewohnte Qualität in einem Hotel der NH-Group
Pros:

Schöner Blick in den Stadtpark, sehr ruhig bei Nacht. Zimmer sauber und geräumig, Betten gut. Badzimmer sehr groß, behindertengerecht (wenn Bedarf besteht). Zu Fuß bequem in 10 min im Zentrum am Hauptplatz oder über einen Spazierweg zum Schlossberg (ein Muss).

Cons:

Frühstück hat deutlich Luft nach oben. Rührei und Grillwürste (gekochte Minisaiten) waren meist kalt oder maximal lauwarm, bei Reklamation keine Reaktion durch das Personal. Wurst- und Käsesortiment besteht nicht aus regionalen Produkten und wird jeden Tag ohne Abwechslung bereitgestellt.
Keine Abstellfläche für Koffer im Zimmer, muss zum Auspacken auf das Bett gelegt werden. Auch im Badezimmer keine Ablageflächen außer dem Waschbecken. Die behindertengerechte Dusche erlaubt wegen eines zu tief angebrachten Duschkopfs keine Haarwäsche im Stehen.
Der angebotene Verzicht auf tägliche Zimmerreinigung wird nicht in irgendeiner Form honoriert:
Die Notfallmeldeeinrichtung in der Dusche und am WC hängen lose an der Wand. Bei unbeabsichtigter Betätigung beim Duschen wurden wir nach ca. 2,5 Stunden telefonisch gefragt, ob es ein Problem gebe und wir sollen doch den Rückstellknopf betätigen (Bei echtem Notfall ist diese Zeitspanne nicht akzeptabel!!)
Die Zufahrt zum Hotel sollte deutlicher beschrieben werde. Mit dem Navi fährt man über den Karmeliterplatz (Nur Fußgängerzone!) direkt in eine öffentliche Tiefgarage, die einen Treppenaufgang (Koffer tragen über mindestens ein Stockwerk, kein Aufzug, aber auch kein Angebot zur Hilfe beim Entladen) zum Hotel hat. Die Kosten dafür betragen pro Tag 42 € (Hoteltarif 30 €). Bei früherer Abreise wird die Pauschale nicht reduziert.
Wir haben bereits einige Übernachtungen in NH-Hotels europaweit hinter uns. Das NH in Graz war das bisher schlechteste!

Five-star staff. Zero-star Air-Conditioning
Pros:

The staff here are excellent. Every one of them. Especially Telin.
The room met my expectations for a four-star hotel, with one major exception.
It was clean. Good size. A fridge. A safe. A Nespresso machine. Nice bathroom. Armchair.
But…….
They advertise Air-Conditioning. But it does not exist. At least, not in May. When it is very very warm in Graz.
The room temperature never went below 23.9 degrees over two days with the “air-conditioning” on all the time.
I woke up both nights……sweating.
I would not return.

Wenn man in der Innenstadt wohnen möchte ist dieses Hotel zu empfehlen
Pros:

Gute Lage in der Innenstadt, ist mit dem Auto gut zu erreichen. Personal ist sehr freundlich und nett. Tiefgarage ist auch mit Sportautos gut einzufahren.

Cons:

Tiefgaragenplatz ist preislich überteuert.

Pros:

The staff are excellent. Telin especially. Room is what I would expect from a 4 star hotel. Clean. Fridge. Nespresso machine. A safe.
Very quiet.

Cons:

The hotel advertises Air-conditioning. But they omit that it isn’t actually working in May.
The guest cannot control the temperature - in a four-star hotel!
It was on fan. 23.9 degrees was the lowest the thermostat read.
I woke up both nights sweating.
I would not stay here in May through September.
