Prime location newly refurbished new management.
Pros:

Refit to our room(302) seems to have been done to an excellent standard. Breakfast was very good. The linen was clean and fresh.

We have stayed at a lot of locations and would not normally leave an unpleasant review but felt on this occasion we had
Pros:

Location and staff. Breakfast was really good and cooked fresh but only if you liked a cooked breakfast as there was no cereal choice

Cons:

We were Very disappointed with our rooms. These were on the fourth floor with 75 steps to climb as there was no lift. these rooms had not been upgraded and we felt they should not have been offered as they were not up to the standard we expected. Room 403 had not been upgraded ,with no view at all just a blank shield. The room was not serviced on one morning and the window was really dirty.

Extremely dated, very hot rooms and no lift
Pros:

The room was nothing like the photos and we was staying on the 4th floor, it was in a really hot attic type room where the window only opened inwards so you couldn’t keep the window open, it was very old fashioned and smelt

Cons:

It really needs to be done out it’s quite creepy and not a lift so had to carry all our luggage right to the top, it’s very very dated

Fantastic sea view and good location
Pros:

Fantastic views and friendly staff. A high standard of cleanliness.

Cons:

We had to rush breakfast on first morning and miss it on the second as it didn't start until 9am and we had to catch trains early on both days. I would visit again but I wouldn't book breakfast. 7
