Hotel Cartagena Dubai

Definitely need to upgrade the hotel, the furniture, the bedding all needs to be updated. Please update hotel it’s in a good location centralized access to the mall small shops in small restaurants and the beach is good.

Beautiful places to stay with the family

The ocean views are amazing, the breakfast is good and they have fair variety, but on our first night the hotel had no running water and we were stuck before our tour. We contacted reception and they kept lying until they said that the entire area had no running water. That is wack because a hotel is supposed to provide 24/7 water. Would stay there again? It’s a no from me due to that inconvenience.

So with the name Dubai in the caption, I thought this would be one great hotel. Sadly, I was mistaken. The lobby is large but hot, no AC. There was a lot of people checking in and only one person working, so it took a while. The check in staff looked bored, I thought they were just hot. The room was old, smelled old and very disappointed in the quality, definitely needs a renovation. No restaurant BUT they have a buffet with a very limited selection. and did I say it was hot.

People are really friendly, nice and very helpful but the Hotel wasn't the best experience, serious problems with Air conditioning, and after they moved us to another room, second didnt have hot water, based on the pictures, I was expecting better quality overall.

El servicio pésimo. Nadie nos recibió las maletas al bajar del taxi. Mucha limitación con los horarios de la cómoda. Las bebidas, nada que ver comparado en otros hoteles .Nada de variedad con la cómida. No hay comodidad en los cuartos. O teníamos donde poner la ropa , No hay closet . No servicio a habitaciones .

The pool was dirty people left bottle and cup onside the pool the pool chais and furniture were dirty and old

My jewelry went missing here. Property advertises amenities that are falling apart. Cheap vibes here. They will nickel and dime you wherever they can. For example, you’ll pay $45USD per person if your family stops by during the day.

It needs upgrades, maintenance ... Staff is great...

I stayed at Hotel Cartagena Dubai for my birthday, and I was honestly so disappointed. I had high hopes based on the photos online, but they were completely misleading — definitely catfishing. The hotel looked old and worn out from the moment we arrived, and I immediately regretted booking it.

We had reserved a king room (online said slept two people), At check-in, we were charged more than what was listed online for the additional person, which felt unfair and unprofessional. For the price, we expected much better — especially since places like the Hyatt are at the same level price-wise and offer a far superior experience.

The room was at least clean and smelled good, but everything felt dated and poorly maintained. It just didn’t feel special — definitely not the kind of place you want to celebrate a special occasion like a birthday.

Also, it’s not centrally located at all. We ended up spending most of our time (and money) in the Walled City, which is absolutely where you should stay if you’re visiting Cartagena.

I wouldn’t stay at Hotel Cartagena Dubai again. If you want a memorable trip, skip this one and book something inside the Walled City — trust me.

Terrible bad

Great staff great location! The girl at the little desk on the side of the lobby who set us up with the boat adventure to Ibiza island was amazing. She was very knowledgeable, she recommended us to visit this place. She was right! we had a wonderful time.

Outdated. Lack of staff. Low light in some areas. Theme was something of the 90s. Felt more like the old Luxor hotel in Las Vegas

It’s all inclusive but it’s a lie, very limited hours, menu and space. It is not a all inclusive hotel as they charge for.

I would not come back again

There was a number of things wrong in my room. The phone didnt work. The wifi was sometime-ish. Shower did not produce hot water. And there was no fixtures or drawers or anything for my clothing. Paint was dripping off the wall from the Air conditioner. And my safe wasnt working.
But, maybe i had a bad unit. No one else in my party had these complaints.

Very nice overall.

A/C very loud. We found small roaches in the room. Food was really bad. Just one restaurant that serves a very limited buffet. Service es mediocre. No small towels in the room, no bottle of water, lousy breakfast. The only good review is that the room is big and beds are conformable
