High points: The housekeeping staff were so sweet and supportive. Always willing to help me with my Spanish. Lots of smiles. Cheap and sufficient.
Low points: Ants, roaches in the room! The room is very small and no windows so it’s a little like a cell. Their ad said they had a community kitchen, water and breakfast but they had none of those things. The communal areas were used by the staff and the staffs family a lot and so it was a little awkward. Not to mention the hammock area was used as a welding room. There was constant work being done during the day. Hammering, drilling, welding etc..
All in all I would say it’s ok for one or two quick nights but definitely not good for an extended stay.
I don’t expect people to speak English but on their Airbnb add the owner said she did and that’s just not true. Zero English spoken and even though they knew I was a student and only currently know a little the main staff just kept talking to me in full speed Espanol. I repeatedly was like “woah!” lol Like I said I don’t expect anything other then what they said in their ad and for them to understand and slow down for me.
