Bamboori Boutique Resort Chiang Mai

The hotel seems understaffed and in need of a lot of maintenance. The receptionist that was working when we checked in (around 7pm) seemed like the only staff on site.
On check-in, our room was missing toilet paper, tissue, soap. The slippers were dirty, but most importantly, the safe was not working. The receptionist did her absolute best to solve our issues, but she wasn't given many resources.
Also, the hotel is very close to the airport so expect to hear airplanes from around 7am-1am.

it has got to be the worst so-called hotel in lovely Chiang Mai, firstly all the hotel s in the world with 3 stars or above speak some English the receptionists here speak none at all they do not even convert for you,just look at you with no smiles at all, this is all staff,next everywhere is DIRTY big time the swimming pool and the area is filthy you go to the washing area and dust everywhere the corridors are never swept clean, the so-called hotel is on the runway of CM airport so what with the planes, the maids slamming doors and the maids bringing their children into work screaming all day long, then you have outside your room a young man with a leaf cleaner the engine goes on fo 5 hours a day it is impossible to rest, relax, or sleep in the room the room phones are a wast of time, you name it in this place it is bad but the owner MRS.ARJIN YANTAPANIT just wants your money, SO PLEASE AVOID THIS DIRTY HOTEL AND pay for many better places in Chiang Mai its a lovely place to visit

I delivered my own parcel and they kept me safely. This was nice service but just the only one thing I appreciated, for more please read below.

I used to stay at 5 star hotel but this place does not deserve this phrase at all. Firstly, I thought it was cheap price due to COVID-19 situation that's why I decided to stay and finally I knew I was deceived by (some) previous positive feedbacks.

I booked a room through Agoda and it referred that this is 5 star hotel but it is definitely not! Let's skip about the star quality but overall hospitality quality instead ;
1. Poor guestroom cleanliness : plenty of blood stains on bedding (also seemed on wallpaper I thought) and dust in 'ALMOST' every inch of room, especially found old dirty cotton buds with old tissue paper (might from an old guest) in a restroom bin. Front desk girl staff responded by apology when I informed and 2 maids went to clean by I reminded the problems again they said only (in Thai) "okay, will changed a sheet, also a trash bin."
2. Musty smell from bathroom and bedding.
3 . A lot of house lizard poops at balcony, also balcony door could not be locked properly.
4. A/C was pretty cold That's tge most I loved staying there 2 nights but still had a problem since made noisy all night and my problem solution was turning it off! I could not tell any staff since there was no one by the lobby at night.
5. I did not watch any TV programme since I was afraid that if find any problem from it again because every experiences I faced here were enough!
6. Electric kettle got water inside oh! it was not enough cleaned.

Thanks god for blessing me faced these experiences! If you find good memmories here is a lucky.

Further advice from me : please earn a bit more budget to stay in a better place. Trust me!

Agree with many stayers that this hotel is not 5 star. 3 star the most. When i arrive at 1530hrs, there was only 1 receptionist. I was struggling with my luggage, he didnt even help me hold the door.

If u are out sightseeing most of the time, the price is consider cheap. I prefer spacious room.

There is only 3 gym machines next to the pool

Not much security. Anyone can enter the main building
No bell boy
Phone nog working (need service must walk to lobby)
Too many stairs from front porch.
Lift also has some height making wheel luggage difficult to go forward.

Choose the room at the far end from the pool, it helps with lesser noise from the airport. There are capsule coffee maker and tea maker in room. Big fridge, and plenty of choices of amenities. Bed and mattress are comfy.

Hotel itself ....very thin walls ....noisy all night ......could here some sort of motor starting up every minute or so .....all through the night
Breakfast was average at best ....usual fair ...but no pastry or anything
Coffee was brought to the table , but then you had to get up and serve yourself from a communal sugar pot and milk jug ....very odd .
It's an old building that's had cladding screwed into it to make it look new . Room decor disappointing ...peering paper...bathroom doesn't match the description at all as we'd upgraded our room .....only 4 poster different I think

Don't stay here if your a light sleeper

They had 24 h front desk. It’s close to the airport and quite there except for the aeroplane noises. The water was like warm.

It's an oasis in an urban setting. Peaceful and mood changing.

The pool was a bit dirty though.

Swimming pool is closed. We were disappointed because we wanted to swimming while weather was very hot.

the breakfast was just okay. Staff are beyond expectation.

great hotel, super cool and great breakfast. coffee, croissants, toast, egg station, salad, fruit, cereal etc etc.
loved spending time in the breakfast area, very nicely done place inviting you to sit and relax while you eat breakfast and sip your coffee.

rooms are good, spacious, good bathroom. no complaints.

pool is good too, right next to the airport, so it's a bit noisy, but that's fine.
gym is very minimal, outdoor right next to the pool.

this place is great is you have a car since it's a bit outside of the main places of CM, but there's free parking and it's easy to find.

will definitely consider again when coming to CM.

비행기 활주로 근방이라서 나의 방 위로 커다란 비행기가 이륙한다. 비행기에 그려진 로고와 상호가 분명하게 보인다.
너무 시끄러워서 고통 이었다.
돈받고 투숙한다 해도 절대 가고싶지 않은 최악의 호텔이다.
택시 콜 써비스도 않된다.
써비스 되는 것이 별로 없는 호텔이다.
내가 다녀본 호텔중 최악이다.

Nice hotel, we loved the design. The only problem was the mosquitoes and the airport being close, and that was loud.

AMAZING! You must stay here in Chiang Mai. Service and accommodations were more than we ever expected. Staff is warm and extremely helpful to foreigners.

Stayed here before going to the airport for an early morning flight. Sadly despite being right next to the airfield you get all the disadvantages of being next to an airport (very loud as the plane lands) and non of the benefits as it still takes 20 minutes to get to the airport so would be better to stay somewhere else as Chiang May is so small. The swimming pool was filthy and the 'gym' was a few pieces of equipment next to the swimming pool. The equipment wasn't plugged in so wasn't really working. The restaurant at the hotel was okay.

Tres tres proche de l'aeroport et de la piste de decollage et l'activite est dense en journée jusqu'au milleiu de la nuit. C'est le point boir de cet hotel.
