Pros:

Great central location in Fremantle. Fairly active noisy bar downstairs, but the rooms are very well insulated from this. Nicely renovated room with decent sized bathroom. Friendly helpful staff on reception.

Cons:

The entrance way and reception area let the property down. They feel like a bit of an afterthought, with the main ground floor business being the pub. There is no parking at the hotel although they can arrange parking at a reasonable rate at a nearby multi-storey. However, on a busy Friday night there was nowhere close to the hotel to stop, drop bags off and check-in.

Superb hotel, with interesting decor and history. Great location too.
Pros:

Great location, beautiful room, comfy bed, huge bathroom and very impressive room decor. Rooftop bar has amazing views and food / drinks were great. Generally a good vibe at the hotel so fitting for Freo. We would definitely visit again. They provided discount for parking which we paid for at the hotel made an easy departure.

Pros:

Central and lively location, close to bars (it's in a pub), restaurants, night-life, and the Rottnest Ferry terminal. Rooms were surprisingly quiet considering the lively pub atmosphere on other levels.

Surprisingly stunning place with very helpful warm staff and a room that made us feel like royalty!
Pros:

We got the Instagram room for sure... Corner room 2nd floor with the 4 post bed and beautiful interior furniture, sweeping teal curtains and modern amenities + bath! I loved the fact that our room had a second wall/hallway between our door and the rest of the hotel.
My only regret is that we didn't have other friends come to enjoy the vast balcony space we got with 270 degrees view of Fremantle. This was the best hotel room I've ever scored and was a last minute booking as well!

Cons:

Pillows on bed were way too firm and thick... Nearly would have slept better without a pillow!
TVs were outdated and had no "smart tv" features so we couldn't stream a movie we had hoped we could watch

We felt we were overseas, and we live in North Beach!
Pros:

The renovations particularly the staircase and other arty touches, retaining the brick work, using alcoves for art, the beautiful old and new glass.
The rooftop bar was exceptional especially in the evening and during the week when it wasn't too crowded.
the balcony was fabulous at every time of the day. Great views and people watching
The staff were, without exception, fabulous. And extremely hard working.

Loved this hotel - the rooms were traditional but were well kept and the bed was comfortable and the bed linen clean and fresh.
