SLS LUX Brickell

The lobby is very small and does not make the actual hotel justice. For some reason my room was not ready when I arrived although I arrived after check in time.
The room itself was wonderful, spacious, with a seating area, washing machine/dryer, dishwasher, microwave, mini bar etc. The bathroom was also very spacious and clean with a great shower.
The bed, duvet and pillows were fantastic.
However it was not soundproof and the noise from the traffic outside was quite annoying.
Excellent location in the centre of Brickell with plenty of shops, restaurants and bars within walking distance.

The stay was ok. Location is great. The one star is because imI used valet parking and my car was returned reeking a smell of weed. I did not noticed it as soon as I got in but after a couple os minutes I was getting sick because of the smell. This is so terribly wrong and disgusting. This just shows how poorly the supervision and training of the valet drivers are. The hotel has high end and upscale customer but the service is subpar.

Location of the property was excellent, convenient to shopping and restaurants.

Everything about this hotel is a yes for us.
We stay at the SLS Lux every tome we visit FL.

The first night I arrived it was unbearably hot. They came to fix the AC twice and it still didn’t work. They did give us a different room but we had to wait until the following afternoon. The elevator also kept breaking down so we had to walk from the 7th floor multiple times. This is very unusual for the SLS Lux. I’ve stayed there many times and did not have this problem.

Hotel did not have water to take a shower. Not one appology, just too bad not our problem that the pipe broke. Had to leave the hotel without taking a shower and paying a lot for this room. Just a bad attitude and experience.

The elevators were out of service constantly throughout our three-day business trip. During the heat of summer, this made walking up and down several flights of stairs an absolutely horrible experience. The staff was nice enough about it, but it’s clear that the property is poorly managed, if being managed at all.

I’ve stayed here before with no issues, great location. However, during this stay, one elevator was out of service the entire time, and both were down for several hours at one point. A staff member had to escort us via the service elevator, and other guests were also frustrated. My room was missing silverware, and housekeeping misplaced the remote during cleaning and lost it. Aside from these issues, the room and amenities were nice.
