Pros:

Clean, smart and spacious rooms that are great value for money

Cons:

Only having one room key which also controls the electricity, meaning if one person went to the car/pub/shop the other was left with no light/tv etc

Basic but ok for one night, rude staff
Pros:

room was a good size and location was fine for where we needed to get to.
On site restaurant was available for breakfast and dinner - Lunch menu food was ok and Breakfast was decent
Comfy bed

Cons:

rudeness of staff - on arrival we were practically ignored for a few minutes whilst staff appeared to be on their phones. Eventually we were gruffly asked if we wanted to check in. Room was a good size but there were food stains on the curtains and overall cleanliness was a little lacking for carpet and walls, bed was clean though
The on site restaurant/pub was filthy, food all over the floors under the tables, tables not cleared from previous inhabitants. Some quite drunk and obnoxious customers were also present, loudly shouting and swearing with families around....not ideal.
Bar staff were again quite rude when we waited ages to be seated and I asked if we could just choose our own seat or did we need to wait......

Customer service training is definitely needed!
