Lovely ambience and decor spoit by the staff attitudes
Pros:

On check in we were booked in on the 6th floor with stairs to climb and was told states stairs on website not their problem and no alternative offer! As I senior I struggled up the flight of last staircase from lift and ended up taking a fall backwards from the 10th stair hurting my ankle and back! I went down to complain at reception and was told not interested and not their problem! Guess what when I checked out my 100 AUD deposit was kept and told I had damaged the staircase when I fell! we tried to discuss and was told to leave the property don’t discuss with her and was very rude! Extremely disappointed by the attitude of staff and unfriendly approach

Great hotel and staff, would definitely stay there again.
Pros:

Great communication from the hotel staff prior to our stay. The hotel is in a beautiful building, the rooms and decor are great. Staff also extremely friendly and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend.

Pros:

Lokacija hotela, 15ak minuta setnje do centra. Udobnost i cistoca te ljubazno osoblje. Definitivno svaka preporuka za ovaj hotel.
Ima parking ispred hotela koji se naplacuje i mora se unaprijed rezervirati jer nema puno mjesta.

Otel ulaşım olarak çok rahattı. Tramvay ve metroyla ulaşım mümkün.Odalar temiz ve çalışanlar çok yardımseverdi.

Cons:

Oda biraz küçüktü özellikle banyo küçük geldi bize bir de banyo kapısı sıkıntılıydı.

Just okay but dealing with unexpected situations

Δυστυχώς από τις πρωτόγονες κακές εμπειρίες.
Καταρχήν πρέπει να πω πώς όλα ήταν απλώς οκ. Τίποτα παραπάνω. Παρά το ότι το λένε και καλά “Alfons Boutique Hotel” για εμένα μόνο «Boutique» δεν ήταν. Ήταν απλώς ένα τελείως απλό ξενοδοχείο και τίποτα παραπάνω. Όσο πιο απλό γίνεται. Τίποτα το σπουδαίο ή μοναδικό, ιδιαίτερο ή εκθαμβωτικό ή παραπάνω από το απολύτως βασικό σε σχέση με το πιο απλό ξενοδοχείο που έχω μείνει.
Όμως όλα πολύ καλά ως εδώ, κανένα πρόβλημα με αυτό. Δεν περίμενα άλλωστε και πολλά παρά το «Boutique» στο όνομα. Που εν τελεί πλέον είναι απλώς ένα ακόμη διαφημιστικό κόλπο και τίποτε άλλο. Αλλά για εμένα δεν θα έλεγα τίποτα ως εδώ - όλα απλώς οκ.
Η ιδιαιτερότητα του όμως ήταν πάρα πολύ κακή από άποψη πολιτικής και πραγματικά με ξάφνιασε. Καταρχήν στην αρχή μου ζήτησαν την πιστωτική μου κάρτα. Για τυχόν ζημιές που θα βρουν στο δωμάτιο ( σιγά το «Boutique» δωμάτιο κιόλας δηλαδή - αλλά ακόμη δεν είχα καταλάβει την παγίδα ).
Εδώ αξίζει να σημειωθεί πως ενώ πλήρωσα τα πάντα από το booking.com - για να έχω και την σιγουριά του booking.com μου ήρθε ένα email/ειδοποίηση κυρίως μήνυμα μέσω του booking.com πως πρέπει να κάνω check-in!
Αλλο περίεργο και αυτό… checking για ξενοδοχείο.. ;
Τέλος πάντων, λέω κάτι νέο είναι αυτό… γελοίο, αλλά τέλος πάντων ας το κάνω, για να μην έχω απρόοπτα.
Το τραγικό ήταν όμως πως με χρέωσαν, με χρέωσαν για το check-in στο ξενοδοχείο που θα έμενα! Είναι τραγικό - και το check-in το έκανα μέρες πριν φτάσω!!
Εκεί ήταν που μου ξανά ζήτησαν την πιστωτική κάρτα, και δεν την έδωσα - παρά πήγαινε!
Με το που φτάνω όμως και πάω για το check-in (ξανά) μου λένε πως πρέπει αν τους δώσω την πιστωτική μου κάρτα! Λέω γιατί ; Πραγματικά πρώτη φορά μου το ζητάνε αυτό σε ξενοδοχείο! Και μου είπαν αν τυχόν γίνουν ζημιές.. τέλος πάντων ήδη αρχίζω και νιώθω άβολα και από τον τρόπος τους και από την πολιτική τους. Όμως δίνω την πιστωτική μου κάρτα, λέω ας είναι.. άλλωστε δεν έχω να φοβηθώ τίποτε.

Cosy and comfy autumnal stay
Pros:

Close to public transport, the staff were really friendly and welcoming, powerful shower that was really hot and really comfy beds.
We had a room on the side of the courtyard, so it was very quiet as well

Cons:

Not fond of the pillows but they do mention you can request new memory foam ones. It’s my fault I didn’t.

Great value for money
Pros:

Our stay at the Alfons Boutique Hotel apartment had many wonderful highlights. We stayed at the two bedroom apartment. On the positive side, the apartment truly felt luxurious with beautiful golden/brown/black decor throughout. The location is amazing, situated just a few steps away from the metro station with multiple restaurants nearby. We were absolutely amazed by the breakfast selection, which is easily one of the best breakfast selections in Europe. Overall, we felt it offered good value for money.

Cons:

There were a few issues that reduced our comfort. The door of the only bathroom in the huge apartment was transparent, which does not make sense for an apartment shared by multiple families as it violates basic privacy. Additionally, the television volume was capped and could not be made louder than 25, which we found frustrating. Guests should also note that there are multiple steps to reach the rooms where elevator might not help. Finally, we were disappointed to be charged city tax again at the hotel and thought that it was already included in our booking price as communicated by the booking site.
