Not what was expected at Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott.
Pros:

Everything was very clean & well maintained. The room itself was very nice & comfy.

Cons:

This trip was for our 50th. wedding anniversary so we had only a few requirements for our special weekend in Nashville; Great food, good music & a hotel with a hot tub. after checking in & getting dressed to enjoy the hot tub before dinner we found that although it had water in it it was very cold. When we asked about it at the desk letting them know that this was the singular amenity that made us choose this particular hotel, they said that "it had water in it". We said that it was cold water, their reply was that "it was indoors". This reply seemed rather flippant & uncharacteristic for Marriott. When we arrived & asked at the desk what the hot tub hours were they had plenty of opportunity to tell us that the hot tub wasn't working but they didn't. Hopefully it is fixed by now.

This was the first time I have stayed at a Fairfield Inn and I would definitely stay again.
Pros:

The breakfast was enjoyable and the staff was very personable n accommodating. The room was spacious and very clean. A very comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Cons:

Would have liked to have bacon with my eggs but certainly not a game changer.

Comfortable and relaxing experience.
Pros:

The hotel was very clean and appealing. The room was great, and the bed was very comfortable. It was nice to have the separate couch and lounging area. The staff was friendly and efficient.
This is the best room I've had at a Fairfield Inn!

Cons:

There was nothing nearby to walk to.

booking.com and fairfield don't know how to communicate with each other or with users of the site

Tried to book a room with this hotel through booking.com. When we finished putting in all info...including credit card number, it popped up on the screen that "this room is no longer available." So, we booked a room elsewhere. When I returned home a week later I found a confirmation e-mail in my spam folder. Called the hotel directly and they said they would only charge me for one night as a no-show. They said I could contest it through my credit but then I would run the risk of losing the cost for all 4 nights. So, I paid $140+ for a hotel room and I have never set foot on the property. For all I know this could be an excellent hotel...but I was not given the opportunity to try it out and it cost me $140 for nothing.
