Pros:

Das Frühstück hat bei weitem nicht die Qualität wie es die Küche im Schloss verspricht. Das Abendessen war exzellent, aber beim Frühstück haben wir z.B. frisch gebackene Brot oder Kaffeespezialitäten vermisst. Die Massen im dunklen Stall entsprechen nicht der besonderen Exklusivität im Haupthaus.
Der Park mit den wunderschönen alten Bäumen ist großartig!

På det stora hela är vi nöjda.
Pros:

Julbordet var mycket gott och rummet var tyst och lugnt.

Cons:

Sängarna var oerhört osköna, alldeles för mjuka och temperaturen i rummet var hög. Vi stängde av och öppnade fönster men det var ändå väldigt varmt.

En mycket trevlig vistelse i fin miljö. Kändes fräscht och rent.
Pros:

Frukosten var jättebra. Trevlig och serviceinriktad personal, särskilt han som stod i baren på kvällen. Även testsmaka lite före val av drink.

Cons:

Hade gärna önskat att frukosten hade varit åtminstone 1 timme längre eftersom utcheckningen var vid 11.

Pros:

Slottets beliggenhed i de naturskønne omgivelser- sluttede den ene dag af med solnedgang over søen ved Carl d. V’s hus og startede den næste med suveræn udsigt fra Kjugekul. Super service. Hjælpsomme og venlige. Lækker morgenmad- stor buffet med flot udvalg.

Memorable stay in spectacular venue
Pros:

Spectacular historic building in lovely grounds set between two lakes. The rooms within the slott (castle in Swedish) itself are full of period furniture and very atmospheric - this includes the bar, restaurant and state rooms where you can relax with a drink if you are a guest - it was a first to be able to relax in furniture used by a former king of Sweden, rather than it being roped off as furniture usually is in stately homes. The staff were delightful - charming, helpful and not at all stuffy, and the food in the restaurant was absolutely first rate. Our room was in the Mill, one of the outbuildings a couple of minutes of walk from the slott. The room was fine, modern and well furnished, but nothing out of the ordinary. Some great walks close by on Ivo island.

Cons:

Nothing we didn't like, but the room was not in the same league as the slott itself.
