Pros:

Hotel Gentile is a very nice place, a traditional hotel in a traditional town, just a short way off the tourist hotspots of the Amalfi coast.

Cons:

All was good except for the mattress! 😅

Tre giorni di trekking in costiera amalfitana
Pros:

Hotel storico (più di 100 anni!) a conduzione familiare, sito nella piazza di Bomerano Agerola, all'inizio del sentiero degli Dei. Il titolare, Mario, gentilissimo e sempre disponibile per qualunque richiesta, vi indicherà anche dove lasciare le automobili. Le stanze sono state ristrutturate di recente, c'è l'ascensore e nelle stanze l'aria condizionata, nonchè il wifi in tutti gli ambienti. La colazione viene servita in un ampio ambiente (molto caldo in estate) con caffè di cialda, un minimo di scelta salata (uova sode, un paio di affettati e formaggio a fettine), buon assortimento di cose dolci (ciambelloni e crostate, biscottini, lieviti e croissant), succo ace, caffè americano, frutta fresca, cereali e yogurt. Nel periodo estivo la cena è servita nel cortile tra corpo centrale e depandance. Il limoncello è fatto in casa!

Cons:

L'unico appunto riguarda il bagno, che disponeva di un box doccia molto piccolo (circa 60x60 cms), in cui l'erogatore della doccia non poteva essere regolato in altezza (la morsa non si attaccava al braccio verticale), per cui sostanzialmente o ci si inchinava oppure lo si teneva alto con una delle due mani. Il salone della colazione, come detto, è molto caldo in estate perchè al mattino riceve il sole e non ha riscontro d'aria; le porte sono tenute aperte quindi non viene accesa l'aria condizionata.

Der Preis war für die Region zwar niedrig, aber das bringt auch entsprechende Abzüge in der Qualität der Unterkunft mit

Der Mann am Empfang war bemüht und nett

Cons:

Ausstattung ist sehr alt.
Die Dusche ist unfassbar klein.
Die Türen knallen immer beim schließen.
Die Zeiten fürs Frühstück waren nicht für Urlauber sondern für Frühaufsteher gemacht und die Auswahl / Qualität war maximal ausreichend mit zwei Augen zukneifen.

Tolle Lage
Pros:

Zentral im Ort gelegen und perfekter Ausgangspunkt für den Sentiero degli Dei. Die Betten waren sehr bequem und es war sehr sauber. Das Frühstück ist abwechslungsreich und gut.

Cons:

Die Zimmer waren sehr hellhörig; unser Zimmer lag neben dem Lift.
Die Duschkabine ist nur für schlanke Personen geeignet.
