The dinner was a bit disappointing.
The staff were friendly
We had a traumatic experience, to find a towel that was folded and hanging up which, when we took it off the rail to use it, had multiple large amounts of blood and semen on it. It was so disgusting I felt like vomiting. We immediately called reception who replaced the towel but had no other communication about it.We also found bloody splatters on the wall, and the coffee machine was leaking. After we checked out, and re-informed reception of our towel experience, we went up to the restaurant for breakfast and paid $49 each for a very average buffet. We will never be back.

I would not recommend walking at night in the district the hotel is in. It’s right next door to strip clubs.
Comfortable and stylish
The hotel is very nice but the noise outside at night totally ruined the experience as it was so noisy. Needs better sound protection. We stayed for a special occasion as we don’t live too far away , I felt very disappointed by the terrible sleep and even considered leaving in the earlier hours of the morning as the noise was so bad . You could even hear the beeping of road crossings, people talking as they went pass, very noisy cars etc.

Paid NZD 740 per night mainly for Club Signature access, but it was a complete disappointment. Very poor canapés with only four options, nothing like the photos, no sparkling water and warm still water. Rooftop and sauna were closed, so most amenities were unavailable. Ended up leaving the hotel to eat and drink elsewhere. Total waste of money and I regret this booking.
