Great location, close to everywhere you need to be.
The housekeeping service was hit and miss. Whilst we were away for 5 hours on day 1, our room wasn’t serviced. On day 2 it was the same and we had to ring to get the room serviced. Apparently we weren’t a priority. Interesting comment.
The hotel is quite stunning. The rooftop bar offers some nice views and drinks are reasonably priced. The room is lovely and very clean on arrival . A welcome pastry was brought to us by the concierge and was delicious. Location is right in the heart of Auckland, so a great place to be, but a little noisy late at night on the weekends. Very easy to get to and from the airport
I very much enjoyed our stay here. The hotel room was beautiful and they met our accommodation requests. The front desk people were kind and helpful. We especially liked the central location close to the train and water. Good job.

Entry to room was not clear
Dhruv and sudesh were amazing and very helpful, the rooms were amazing and had a huge tub! I will definitely be coming back to stay again
Stunning place lovely staff and helpful
From the moment we stepped into the hotel, our senses were heightened. The venue smelled divine throughout, everywhere I looked was visually pleasing, and our room was beautifully designed for elevated comfort. The hotel offerings and amenities were top-notch, such as the spa and wellness area; the rooftop bar and buffet breakfast (found on the floor just below the bar) had unbeatable views of the city with a relaxing, luxurious yet inviting atmosphere.
Great service, staff were friendly, hand written note and a pastry for our anniversary. We enjoyed the sauna and spa. Location was perfect
The reception/front desk staff were amazing to deal with. They went above on beyond, to make my daughters stay so special- giving her a card and special treat for her birthday. Any request, never seemed like an issue- the staff were just fantastic to deal with.
Minibar/snacks section, had half eaten chocolate bar left in it but this wasn’t a big deal-easy to miss and easier for me to throw away.
SO/ Auckland was a fantastic stay and the perfect finale to our New Zealand holiday. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the hotel's stylish, opulent décor and luxurious feel. Our room was spacious, beautifully furnished, and very well equipped, with an incredibly comfortable king-size bed that made for a great night's sleep.
The bathroom was particularly impressive, featuring a large rainfall shower, a free-standing bath, and complimentary toiletries. The only minor disappointment was the hairdryer, which had clearly seen better days and felt quite sticky from previous hair product use. Thankfully, we had brought our own, so it wasn't a major issue.
We also made use of the pool facilities. The pool itself is quite small, but it was more than adequate for a relaxing swim as it wasn't busy during our stay. Do be aware that the water temperature was on the cool side. There are no changing rooms by the pool, so it's best to make use of the complimentary dressing gowns provided in the room.
The location is excellent, within easy walking distance of shops, restaurants, and the waterfront. There are also several lovely cafés nearby that are perfect for brunch. We'd particularly recommend exploring the local café scene if you're staying for a few days.
Overall, a luxurious, comfortable, and well-located hotel that provided a wonderful end to our trip. We would definitely stay here again when visiting Auckland.
