Excellent location right next to Old Town, The property is full of mature landscaping making it seem like a quiet, country side retreat a 2 min walk from major landmarks.
Reception / front desk open until 8pm. Easy communication through Watsap in preparation for arrival. The place is very close to city center while in a small street. The property is a guesthouse in a surrounding garden which is tuned by birds (and frogs on night but not too noisy). The room is large, separate are kitchen and bathroom. Kitchen amenities are fine. Air cond, hot water and wifi are fine. The place is very quiet day and night and the cleaning service can be required on demand. Drinking water and coffee/tea are supplied in the kitchen. You can park car or motorbike at the property parking
The stay was wonderful, there is nothing to criticize. I would recommend the room B1 for the best privacy.

To be perfect you just need a bigger shower head in this big bathroom, all the rest is really perfect
Die Betreiber waren sehr freundlich. Die Anlage sehr grün und sehr gepflegt, man hat hier absolut seine Ruhe. Die Wohnung war schön und schlicht eingerichtet mit allem was man braucht. Trotz Nähe zur Hauptstraße hört man nichts von dem Verkehr. Night Market und Einkaufsläden in direkter Umgebung, Lage ist hervorragend.
Einzig das Bett war für uns etwas zu hart, aber dass ist ja persönliches Empfinden.
Oldy De Garden felt like a haven full of nature and peace in the middle of the city. The staff were lovely, and the room had everything you would need, including lots of bottled water, tea, coffee and cooking utensils. The room was spacious with the kitchen and bathroom in different rooms and the bed was huge and very comfortable. I would definitely stay here again.
Lovely quiet location in the heart of chiang mai

A sweet little apartment walking distance to the Old City, a night food market and some tourist sites. The apartment has a large room with a basic kitchen with large fridge, microwave (I think) and kettle and a few dishes etc. Enough to make a basic breakfast and also a large bathroom. We had a balcony to the garden but didn't really sit outside as we were tired by the end of a busy day. One of the night markets is around the corner and was great for dinner. a few restaurants for breakfast. Very accessible to points of interest and walkable if you like to walk or Grab was easy to get. Wat Lok Moli temple right around the corner - interesting at night to see. Very good value for money.
Missed the great breakfast that most places offer in Thailand , so you have to either make your own or find a restaurant or grocery store nearby - there are just a few. Have to google maps where you can grab coffee or food in the day.

This is my second time to choose Oldy De Garden. Comparing to my travel in 2024, the owner couple enlarged the number of rooms and kept three cute cute siam kitties.
I stayed in G8 room, and it's just comfortable for single traveler. Tide, clean, cozy, quiet, adn also with a fully-equipped kitchen.
Moreover, the location is rather convenient to everywhere. The hotel is 300m awaty from north gate of old town, where a small night market, a 7-11, a lotus fresh market, a nice bruch cafe nearby. Convenient but more quiet than live near Tha Phae Gate.
It would be perfect if those new furnished rooms connecting cable and guests could watch local TV program to experience more Thai culture.

The location was perfect, tucked away in a quiet street yet very close to a food market. We appreciated the large space (we had the 2 bedroom suite) and full kitchen. We also liked that the bathroom was separated into a shower room, toilet room and sink in the corner so we could each use a different part. We found the space to be clean and comfortable with good air-conditioning. The outdoor decor and patio seating was welcoming and nice to relax in. Overall an excellent stay and I would return next time I'm in Chiang Mai.
The shower drain was very slow and it flooded the entire bathroom floor.
