Pros:

REMLI Villa un endroit au calme, la chambre était grande assez de place pour 2 adults et 2 enfants. Le Propriétaire est super gentil, le dîner très bon, un petit déjeuner délicieux et copieux, il est venu nous chercher a l'aéroport, a pris le temps de faire les visites avec nous, nous a déposé a Nanu Oya pour qu'on puisse prendre le train ver Ella et nous a déposé les valises directement a Ella ( on était plus tranquille pour le train) je recommande fortement cette endroit, les enfants ont adoré.

Cons:

C'est loin du centre, mais au moins c'est très calme et très bien pour se reposer.

Highly recommended, best idea to stay here :)
Pros:

The best idea to stay in Kandy is this Villa! Beautiful located on a hill in a calm neighborhood it gives you spectacular views. The host and his team is super nice and helpful and they take the best care of you. The host even picked us up and drove us to the Villa. You can relax at the roof terrace, eat the delicious homecooked breakfast and enjoy your stay (we also recommend the tasty dinner, which you can order). It gives the perfect contrast to the busy Kandy city life and the rooms are beautiful and clean. Big recommendation! :)

Rustige plek net buiten de drukte van Kandy
Pros:

We werden vriendelijk ontvangen bij Remli Villa en onze bagage werd direct aangenomen. Het hotel ligt op een kleine heuvel, maar is met de tuktuk prima te bereiken. Je kunt je tuktuk ook bij het hotel parkeren, wat erg handig is.

De ligging vonden wij juist erg prettig. Je zit net buiten de drukte en hectiek van het centrum van Kandy, waardoor je na een dag in de stad weer heerlijk tot rust kunt komen.

Onze kamer was mooi, netjes en vooral lekker fris. Daarnaast was de kamer ruim en de wifi werkte goed. Wij verbleven hier slechts één nacht als overbrugging, maar daarvoor was het een prima keuze.

Het ontbijt was eenvoudig, maar goed en voldoende.

And clean our laundry.

Nice stay in Kandy.
Pros:

Really kind people. Comfortable stay and great breakfast.

Cons:

I felt like there was a little tinge of a musky smell in the room, but it was fine for my one night. A little drive from the main town, but worked well for me.

Outstanding!
Pros:

Remli Villa is such a wonder! Located in a privileged area in Kandy with astonishing views, surrounded by tall trees and amazing vegetation, all these in such a quiet place where rest is just great. The room was really clean and breakfast was pretty good. Special mention must be made of Heshan, who gave us valuable advice and was always ready to help regarding transport and pretty much anything we must have turned to him for. Will come back and stay at Remli Villa when we return to Kandy next summer.

Beautiful accommodation with fantastic food and staff
Pros:

Remli Villa is amazing, we couldn't fault it. Lovely heritage villa set amongst the trees, the family room was spacious and well set out. Wonderful terrace where we ate breakfasts and one of our evening meals - beautiful views and the food was delicious. One of the best Sri Lankan breakfasts of our trip! Heshan is a fantastic host - took us to the big buddha on our fitst evening, made great local recommendations, and drove us on to Sigiriya via the Dambulla Caves which he gave us a tour of. Highly highly recommend Remli Villa.

Decent but could be improved.
Pros:

The rooftop had a great view of Kandy. The breakfast was very good.

Cons:

Our toilet door couldn't shut properly. The bathroom design isn't ideal, as soon as one person showers the whole place gets wet. There isn't anywhere to put toiletries or personal belonging in the toilet. The hotel location is really far from town.
