Room was so terrible we drove home
Pros:

Location is admittedly exceptional. Staff very kind. Food was decent.

Cons:

There was a litereal pile of garbage outside our hotel room. There was no air conditioning in the room but we couldn't keep the windows open due to the noise outside the room. We drove home at 10.30 at night.

Lovely Stay but could have been better..

Hotel was very clean and location was perfect.

Cons:

I was staying through work and booked late in the day online. When i came to check in after a long the lady on reception said about putting me in a different room to what i booked and mentioned the room having a walk in shower which i agreed was fine.
When i entered the room albeit being very clean i realised it was a complete disabled room which i wouldn't have agreed to as i pretty much had to kneel down to the sink for a wash and brush my teeth and the shower/bathroom was soaking after having a shower!
I did state to the lady on reception and all she said that i agreed it would be ok on check in which was a bit of a sharpe answer and didn't offer a different room or any compromise.
I hadn't booked a breakfast so asked if this could be had as complimentary gesture but that was refused also! As good as my stay was and paid in full for everything during my stay i just found that if i knew it was a complete disabled room then i would have refused at the checking in desk.

Pros:

Staff were very helpful, room very nice with all amenities you'd expect. Bar staff very efficient and it's clearly a well run establishment.

Cons:

Issues with the TV in the room, nothing major. Food (bar and breakfast ) wasn't up the the high standards of the waiting staff who were wonderful.

Great hotel, great location.
Pros:

The rooms were nice & clean.
Beds were alittle firm. Breakfast was delicious there was options for a breakfast dish & then continental was buffet. The car park was easy to find on the lane although it can fill up quick & is very tight to park. The Location was good close to the Main Street, tho at night on weekends the hotel warns you that it can be alittle noisey. Well the rooms on the lane side are very noisey til around 1-2am. So if u are a light sleeper ask for rooms not on that side of the hotel possibly. Other than that the hotel was great.

Cons:

Noise from the streets at night, even tho the hotel warned us, I didn’t think it could be that noisey.
