Small cosy clean Hotel
Pros:

A great place close to restaurants, bars and river. The rooms were clean although very small. Not much room for luggage and unpacking. The bed was very comfortable, and the owners tried to be helpful even though they could not speak English. The reception lady could and was very helpful. The only real negative was the very intermittent to no internet, which was a real hassle especially when trying to book and print boarding tickets for flights and trying to send messages to family through the internet.

Close to the Main square - slow internet
Pros:

We had a great stay at the Fitzcarrald Hotel. Although the rooms were quite small the beds were comfortable and the room clean. It is close to the main square and many restuarants. The only real negative was the internet was basically non existent and when it did occasionly work it was sooo slow. Other than that it was a pleasent stay

Nice hotel, good service!
Pros:

The woman who I believe owns it, was so nice and accommodating. The staff was friendly and helpful!! It’s a nice and new hotel, Good value for price. I would stay there again.

Pros:

This was probably my best experience at a hotel! The hotel seems quite new and is kept very clean. The rooms are great, very clean, very comfortable and the bathrooms were just as good. With the price this is the best deal in town. The lady who runs the hotel is a very wonderful person. She made sure we enjoyed our stay and helped us put together a inexpensive trip to the butterfly farm. It was hard to say bye, we exchanged hugs and said our thanks. Had a fantastic time in a great city.

Pros:

Clean and comfortable. Close to Plaza de Armas. Breakfast is excellent. The manager is a bit overbearing making customers and staff uncomfortable.
