Short break in Akureyri
Pros:

The staff were excellent, professional, friendly, and accommodating. The room was clean, quiet warm and modern. The bar and restaurant were exceptional.

Fantastic stay, great base for exploring the area.
Pros:

Brilliant hotel in the perfect spot for exploring.
Room was really nice although parts were a bit tired such as the table in the room but bed was very comfy and big!

Cons:

On the Saturday night it was a bit noisy outside so was woken up a couple of times by loud passing cars even though it was generally a quiet road and a firework was let off a one point! Not sure if it was locals or what.
The rest of the nights were quiet though.

Das Restaurant am Abend war sehr lecker.

Cons:

Unser Zimmer (205) war extrem klein, renovierungsbedürftig (aufgequollene Badezimmertür, Putz bröckelt von der Wand, durchgelegene Matratze) und sehr hellhörig.

Pros:

Perfect place to stay ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Has everything you need as well as lovely helpful friendly staff. Warm, cosy, spotlessly clean, fab breakfast, powerful Shower, immaculately clean room, comfortable pristine bedding. Oh and the restaurant on the ground floor is excellent 👌🏼 Location is bang in the centre of town which is a massive plus (but also can be a negative on a weekend night -very very loud street noise until 4am !!) Akureyri is an absolute must place to visit - even in the winter ❄️ we went as a family with our 8 year old son. We all loved it - it was one of our favourite trips, a real action packed family friendly place. We found the people of Akureyri to be very warm and welcoming. Stayed 3 nights and wish we’d have booked for longer as we didn’t manage to do a few things we’d planned. There is just so much to do and see - even in Feb !! Don’t hesitate - just book it !!!

Cons:

The only issue we had was the street noise (which is the price you pay for being in the centre of town) it was only really an issue for us as it kept our 8 year old awake - my husband and I would probably have slept though it?

Pros:

Góð þjónusta, auðvelt að check-in, góður morgunverður, frábær staðsetning.

Cons:

Mér fannst undarlegt að ég hafi pantað herbergi fyrir 3 manneskjur er það hafi bara verið búið um rúm fyrir 2 manneskjur. Ég reikna ekki með að þurfa að setja sjálf utan um rúmið mitt þegar ég mæti á hótel. Svefnsófinn var orðinn mjög lélegur, dýnan þunn og mjög gömul, algjörlega kominn tími á að endurnýja.

overall stay and experience was amazing.

location , breakfast , staff , cleanliness. everything was amazing. i would like to specially mention name of lady who did too much for us when we reached hotel and wanted to check in. her name was NATALIA . really thanks a lot for her for going out of the way to help us. we enjoyed our stay.
