A bit out of Kandy with no facilities nearby but well worth it for facilities and welcome.
Pros:

Wonderful hostess, very welcoming and helpful. Delicious breakfast. Rooms private and very comfortable.

Cons:

The pool is a dipping pool rather than a swimming pool, the internet is a bit patchy and there isn’t a fridge in the room. The distance from Kandy is more than you would think due to traffic and very small roads.

Belle hospitalité dans un cadre naturel
Pros:

Mary a été une hôtesse adorable, attentionnée, et nous a proposé des repas de qualité. Le cadre naturel est agréable et la chambre propre. Belle salle à manger familiale.

Pani właścicielka jest niesamowicie otwartą osobą i troszczącą się o swoich gości.
Czuliśmy się bardzo zaopiekowani.
Miejsce magiczne pośród dżungli, która daje niesamowity koncert dźwięków.
Domek mieliśmy do swojej dyspozycji jako jedyni goście.
Wnętrza czyste i bardzo przytulne.

Ich habe da ein Problem!

Nach 8x a' 4 Wochen Sri Lanka haben wir eine Unterkunft gehabt, bei der 10 Punkte nicht ausreichen.

Wir wohnten in einem super schönem Homestay mit zwei Zimmern und einem wunderschönen Bad.
Das Homestay ist sehr liebevoll und hochwertig eingerichtet und liegt sehr ruhig mitten im Grünen.
Der Hit ist der direkt vor einer Doppeltüre liegende Pool.
Also vom Wohnraum direkt in den Pool.

Mary zauberte uns ein Frühstück und Abendessen dass in unserer gesamten Sri Lanka Zeit das Beste war.

Die beiden Besitzer sind super freundlich und hilfsbereit.
Auf Grund ihres perfekten Englisch hatten wir tolle gemütliche Gespräche.

Von uns gibt es deshalb 12 Punkte

Pros:

Casa súper limpia y muy acogedora en medio del bosque, durante nuestra estancia hemos visto monos, ardillas y los perritos de la dueña.
Para cualquier necesidad incluido desplazamientos , informaciones o cualquier otra cosa la anfitriona os ayudará en todo momento.
Desayuno excelente: nos pusieron en la mesa de todo : pancakes, tostadas, varios tipos de mermelada, mantequilla, fruta, té, café y si uno quiere también huevos.
Cena y comida también buenísimas, Mary es una excelente anfitriona.

Mary e’ una persona stupenda. Ci ha coccolato e accontentato. Ci ha fatto sentire come di famiglia. Molto disponibile ad aiutarci con gli spostamenti. Struttura persa in mezzo al verde tra scimmie gechi e uccelli vari. Fantastico e rilassante. Fuori dalla confusione della città. Poi ….dipende da cosa cerchi….

Fab accomodation - highly recommend.
Pros:

Gorgeous little cabin located off the beaten track in the jungle surrounded by nature. Host was so lovely and welcoming as was her family - and lovely dogs.
Cabin was clean and really comfortable - great little touches such as mosquito incense repellent, tea when we arrived and filtered water.
The food… some of the best we have had on our trip. The host catered to our veggie dietary requirements happily and made such a delicious Sri Lankan spread for both dinner and breakfast.
Great contacts for Tuk Tuk and tea tasting too! Highly recommend staying here and we hope to be back one day soon.

Beautiful secluded peaceful getaway space
Pros:

We were made so welcome by our delightful hostess, that it made our two day stay that much more wonderful. The cabin itself is so peaceful and relaxing. Our two kids enjoyed the pool so much. The personal touch and careful care the space has been made and is run with, truly makes this a very special getaway destination.

A wonderful romantic place to stay
Pros:

My husband and I stayed at Tea Leaf Retreat and oh wow it was magical. The location was perfect for some peaceful, romantic time away from the busy Kandy. The addition of the pool was really lovely and the room was so spacious with jungle views from all the windows. We had a meal cooked by the host which was delicious and the family were so friendly.

Cozy little house in the jungle! We loved it!!
Pros:

We liked everything in this homestay- the host, the pool, the house, the swimming pool. We felt like in the jungle. Quite place. Breakfast was amazing. Highly recommended!

Pros:

Mary and Steve were exceptional hosts and their two children were great as well. They were very accommodating and had a beautiful property to stay on. They very much open up their homes and are willing to share it as much as possible.
