Amur Hotel

This is a large hotel, preserved from the Soviet times, therefore it is conveniently located.
Beautiful interiors of public areas - at the reception there is a composition in the form of a column of orchids and crystal beads.
The walls are dark in color.
Medium sized room with comfortable double bed, bedside tables, but outlets far from the bed.
There is a work area with a small refrigerator with a minibar. There is also a kettle, a 0.5 bottle of water, tea.
Large bathroom with a full range of hygiene products. 3 towels.
There are slippers and a safe in the closet.
On the 2nd floor there is an ironing room with two boards.
The breakfast is varied. Scrambled eggs, scrambled eggs, oatmeal, Sausage and cheese slices, sausages, cucumbers, tomatoes, salads and delicious pastries.
Measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19: the requirement to scan the QR code, maintain social distance, wear a mask, employees in masks.

Регистрируют быстро и рано. Остальное на свои деньги. Ресторан дорогой. Завтрак плохой. Может многое может просто закончиться и придется бегать просить.

Удобное расположение. Вежливый и отзывчивый персонал. Отличный завтрак. Постоянно пользуюсь для деловых поездок.

В номере была проблема со сливом воды в душе, затопило даже зону спальной, номер поменяли быстро и без проблем, но в другом номере не работала вентиляция, зачем то она была закрыта целофаном, в ресторане еда превосходная, официанты отличные, но хостес вызывают мягко говоря недоумение своим отношением к посетителям.В целом гостинница хорошая, но это не 4 звёзды. Это личное мнение, не более того.

The hotel is located in the city centre and is generally well designed. The room I had was fairly big and included a huge bed as well as a coffe table with comfortable armchairs. The bathroom was fine, with exceptionally hot water and the standard range of toiletries. It also included 2 bathrobes of different sizes, one of which was made for the larger person. The wifi worked well, as did room service. The breakfast buffet provided a wide range of food encompassing both the Russian and European breakfast tastes and included real coffee. The food in the restaurant was good but I found that part of the hotel unnecessarily pretentious. I don't need my drink wrapped up in brown paper.

Sehr gute Lage des Hotels. Zimmer verhältnismäßig groß und sehr sauber. Freundliche und zuvorkommende Mitarbeiter.
Der Frühstücksraum war relativ klein und oft sehr voll. Es war manchmal schwierig, einen Platz zu finden.

On a business trip in the east of Russia, I needed to a room to stay one day while waiting my night train.
I found this hotel over trip advisor and that was a perfect choice.

People on the main desk are talking english, are very helpful and available.
The room I got was huge and very comfy with all you need to rest well.

I would recommend this hotel if you travel to Khabarovsk.

Yes, the room is nice. The bathroom is clean and modern. WiFi is very fast. And breakfast is delicious. Yes, the hotel is in a good central location. But, most importantly, the girls at the reception desk are very helpful and professional. They speak good English. If you have any problems (my luggage was lost by Aeroflot), they are eager to help you. The hotel staff really made my stay in Khabarovsk very enjoyable. Thank you.

Everything worked and looked reasonable despite it having old bones and it is a nice place to stay. The reception staff spoke good english and were very helpful, the wifi was good and the breakfast was ok. The lifts are small and the showers are over a highish bath. As usual the bedside light was useless for reading.

It's not in the middle of town but there are plenty of places to eat nearby and we enjoyed our stay.

As I sit here in the restaurant awaiting my lunch, they are finishing renovation of the outside elevation and then this hotel will be totally and very professionally renewed throughout. In addition to the normal room selection there are single rooms at single room prices. My room is very cosy, clean and quiet. The bathroom is very clean and well appointed.
In my experience English language ability is adequate to good and the staff have been very helpful with directions and recommendations etc..
The breakfast buffet is a good start to the day and the most surprising aspect of this hotel is the restaurant food which would score 5 stars in Paris and the bartenders are wizards who boast the best bloody Mary in the world, to which I couldn't disagree; so I upset their far eastern sensitivity by explaining who that bloody Mary was! It's a contemporary design style attracting a blend of families, business people and high end local people with a smart casual appearance.
If a taxi driver doesn't understand the hotel name just say it with a Scottish accent (Amoorrr). This is a very famous, long established hotel.
Downtown is a 15 minute walk and it's interesting if you want to see how the locals live.

AS mentioned in previous reviews I stay here periodically. It is clean, nicely decorated, and a model of taking an older property and making it totally modern. Beds are great, bathroom roomy and adequate, all makes it worth the price and more.

This is a nice hotel with friendly staff, good food, comfortable beds, clean and tidy. Its location in the downtown gives you a chance to easy get to any place you need or just stroll about the city. I will stay here again.

We stayed there in February, have stayed in this location before and always found it to be excellent. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and quiet. Beds are excellent.

I would recommend this hotel in this city for anyone traveling to Eastern Russia.
