Amazing Stay at Afandou Blu Hotel!

We had a wonderful experience at Afandou Blu Hotel. The place is very clean, peaceful, and perfect for a relaxing holiday. What truly makes it special is the kind and friendly staff — always helpful and welcoming.

The owners are present every day, making sure everything runs smoothly and that guests are happy. You can really feel they care.

We had an amazing experience at this hotel, and a huge part of that was thanks to Yannis, the owner, who went above and beyond to make sure we felt welcome and comfortable. He was incredibly helpful from the moment we arrived, and his lovely family and staff made us feel right at home. They helped with everything we needed – including arranging transportation to the airport – and took care of so many little details that you just don’t get at big hotels. It truly felt like staying with friends. Highly recommended!

AFANDOU Blu Hotel was the highlight of our holiday, all thanks to Yannis and his amazing family. When our trip was nearly ruined, Yannis truly was an angel, saving the day with unmatched hospitality and warmth.

The hotel is spotless, cozy, and definitely deserves 4 stars, not 3. The atmosphere is welcoming, and you can feel the love the family puts into everything they do. The homemade food was absolutely delicious—every meal was a treat!

We left feeling like part of the family. Can’t recommend this place enough!

This hotel is quiet, chilled and friendly. Good mix of nationalities who all mixed and got along. Staff were friendly and helpful. Within walking distance there are a few restraunts and two mini markets. The beach is a few mins walk, it's a mix of shale and sand, very clean. Can hire sunbeds or just use towels. The hotels has a small shop (cash only), the all inclusive was breakfast, lunch and dinner, snacks and icecream ar set times. The food was fresh and quality, albeit limited selection, running joke is Bolognaise for every meal (of you want it). Not good for people who are gluten free or gave special dietary requirements. Fish dishes only in the evening so if you are vegan, veggie or pescstarian you're limited but still could find something to eat. The feta cheese is the best I've ever had, and I ate it every day. Found the stay value for money. Recommend hiring a car if you want to get out and about as taxis aren't cheap or reliable (no uber in Rhodes). My friend and I stayed with our children and all had a relaxed stay. Beach towels can be hired for week. Nothing much to do in the evenings so take some cards or board games if chatting isn't your thing and you don't want to play pool or air hockey. Would recommend to family and friends as an affordable and friendly stay. Final words, don't expect 4/5 * hotel service and choice, you get what you pay for. The local beer served was very nice and the local vodka wasn't paint stripper. Left happy and relaxed.

Imazing small family hotel, where we have already stayed before. Away from the noise town(s), really a quiet place for relax. The staff incl. the owner are very freindley, helpful, Eva speaks very well english, no problem to ask & talk to her. The rooms are OK size, no problem with water, also the aircondition is available in each of the rooms (independent settings) - perfect during hot days :-)
Swimming pool cleaned every day - always clean, no problem to get the sunbeds. The two barmans - perfect. By the bar there is a roof, good place for seatting, talking, drinking.......
Food was delicious. Always fish (yami), always pasta, every meal something different then before, always some greek food. Hotel is small, that is why not so many guests are there, the various of food is not so many kind, however always there were 5 - 6 meals, salad bar and friuts & cakes. It means nothing was missing.
From the hotel is no so far to get to the beach. We always went by rent a car - 2-3 min away to the beach where was nobody, or to Tsambika (sand beach).
Definitely we can recommend the hotel Afandou Blue.

I wanted to come hone after 4 days.
We sat by the pool most days, as this place is very remote, unless you like jetting around in a taxi.
There are toilets on site, but few and far between.
The pool area has no toilets and we noticed the bar staff using the bushes behind the bar to relieve themselves.
We had to keep going back to our room.
FOOD......Don't even go there, unless you like spaghetti bolognese every night served cold.

We came to this hotel as the original hotel we were booked to stay at was not up to our expectations or standards and we couldn't stay there more than one night, so we found this one just by driving around the area and they very kindly were able to accommodate us at very short notice. What can I say about this hotel? Clean, comfortable, large rooms. Pool area kept very clean at all times. Staff so helpful and friendly. Food was tasty and varied. The location was so peaceful and the beach at the end of the drive was so clean with lovely clear water. We had a lovely time here and would definitely recommend this to others looking for somewhere relaxed and friendly.

A BIG THANK YOU to the family owner and staff of this hotel who welcomed us as best they could. We did not test the rooms, the hotel was full, but having had to leave the area of Lindos because of the gigantic fire, we were greeted in the middle of the night in this hotel with great benevolence while we are not their guests. A great generosity that we wanted to thank. From what we saw, the hotel is nice with a very nice pool, 2 minutes from the beach.

Price: fair for what you are getting
Rooms: clean, spacious. We had a few problems with batteries for AC and the shower could only go etiher super hot or super cold but overall quite good
Pool: very nicely kept , but there were a lot of wasps around it
Food: one of the not so great things, in some days it was quite good and there is a variety of things that you can eat however the food was reused a lot and for multiple days, there was no seasoning, we got staled potatoes one day. Desserts were good and it was nice that you always had watermellon and other fruits to take
Bar & drinks: acceptable however most of the dispensers were very old and you could taste that in the not so requested drinks, the wine was very bad (probably made out of powder). Water, beer and coffee was okay though

It’s not a hotel for young people though, mostly for families. Not a lot to do during the night and the location of it it’s far away from other places. However they have a good deal with a car renting service which I would 100% recommend. (No need to give a guarantee)

Booked this for a short trip with my friend for a few days and it was a lovely hotel. Only downside is the walk to bus stop is about 25 mins (but the bus has AC and the walk is atleast a bit scenic). Great food, plenty of choice, really amazing staff very helpful and welcoming. Only a few minutes walk to the beach which is ideal. Couldn’t fault the stay. Will definitely look at coming back next year!

Booked this place on a all inclusive for 2 nights, We booked a family room which was all that was available on Booking.com at the time the room exceeded our expectations we had 2 large bedrooms both with double / king size beds which where super comfortable. The rooms where nicely furnished, bathroom good, large balcony with nice table and chairs, I asked reception for a kettle so we could make a hot drink in our room they provided straight away.
Very impressed with the food at meal times, there was a good selection and no shortage.
The bar area is not very big so sometimes struggled for a table at night time.
Hired moped directly at the hotel which was nice and easy.
The beach is a few minutes walk from the hotel.
All staff very helpful and friendly.
there is a large seating area near reception where you sit and relax after your meal.

We just got home from our vacation and we loved it! Our room was pretty, cleaned every day. The only thing that might be done better is the shower but it didn't matter to us. The staff was good, so was the hotel and the pool area. Food and drinks were great. I only missed fruit, there was just orange and nothing else.
The beach was about 3-5 minutes walk away. The hotel does not have its own deck chairs and parasols, therefore if you want them you have to pay 10 euros per day. The beach was calm a the sea was clean. There is not much to see in the area, so if you want to explore some other places on Rhodes you better borrow a car. We didn't have it and it was also ok
If you are looking for a calm vacation, we can absolutely recommend it.

From arrival on the .31st August until departure on the 7th September, this was an excellent stay. The staff are extremely friendly and are always smiling and helpful. The hotel is spotless, so clean and tidy and the food is incredible. Beautiful pool area and literally 5 minutes walk to the beautiful beach. This has been a wonderful experience and I will be returning. I highly recommend this hotel.

Arrived home yesterday from a quick four day break wishing we could have stayed longer,hotel is spotless in all areas, food excellent,drinks good ,service from all the staff was exceptional especially the lady on reception who’s name I forgot to ask,although hotel wasn’t to busy the staff were working very hard to make sure all the new Covid rules where implemented,thank you to you all.
