Idyllic. Stay here
Pros:

Perfect location. Exceptional hostess who could not do any more to help. Delicious homemade apple cake, biscuits, cheese pies and rice pudding… all homemade and complimentary! Beautiful balcony. Right in the center of the old town. 2 minutes from the harbor. Highly recommended. Unfortunately parking is now a bit trickier. We found places on the road by the Hilton. Free! We will definitely visit again

We had an amazing stay. Thomais was a fantastic host and just the sweetest person. She brought us fresh squeezed orange juice, yogurt, and pastries for breakfast each morning, and everything she baked was delicious. Location was great, on a quiet street within the old town but still right by streets filled with shops and restaurants. Her dining recommendations were also great. We got there late the first night and she even called over to a local restaurant so they could expect us. There is street and public parking within a 5-10 minute walk -- it's annoying, but comes with staying in an old town in Greece. We never had a problem finding a spot and it's just one of those things you need to plan for if you stay anywhere within the car-free area of the town. We hope to get back soon!

Top Hospitality!
Pros:

Thomais made us feel truly at home from the moment we arrived. Her kindness and genuine hospitality were unlike anything we’ve experienced anywhere else—and we’ve traveled to over 90 countries. She went above and beyond with thoughtful touches like homemade apple pie, fresh orange juice, and delicious cheese pie, making our stay unforgettable. Our children absolutely adored her dog, Simba, who quickly became one of the highlights of their vacation. We couldn’t have asked for a warmer or more welcoming host.

A helpful hostess
Pros:

Just off the harbour, the little street was quiet and peaceful. The old house was charming. The host was ever willing to help and aboslutely determined to feed us breakfast.

Cons:

Parking was about 10 mins away (you cant park at the nearest space as thats only for residents. It was not a true two bedroom as there was no door between the living area and the one bedroom and the other beds were in the main living space. It was clearly stated in the description but I just did not register. Old house has its charms but also has flying ants, creaking doors and a small bathroom. All part of the charm.

La colombe blanche
Pros:

C’est l’endroit rêvé pour y passer votre séjour sur Chania , il représente la paix même les colombes y viennent pour dire « bonjour » tout ce « bien être » est du à sa propriétaire, c’est aussi à nous de choisir entre une boîte master avec un code sur un mur ou une rencontre avec un guide pour vous accompagner dans la ville de CHANIA, et puis nous sommes dans une atmosphère familiale à l’autre bout du monde, loin des soucis du quotidien, ce n’est pas une expérience mais une envie d’y revenir .

Chania was made all the more special by our stay at Madonna Studios.
Pros:

We loved staying with Thomais at Madonna Studios. Our rooms were delightful, the beds very comfortable and the location was superb. We were made to feel very welcome by Thomasia. Her hospitality is exceptional and nothing was too much trouble.
