Cosy homy quiet small hotel.
Pros:

Nikonovka hotel is occupying part of the first floor of the residential building with a separate entrance. Residential entrances are on the other side of the building. Cosy homy hotel, operated in a friendly manner. It was located on a very small street, outside of any traffic. Quiet and safe stay. I occupied one of the smallest rooms and yet it was quite nicely equipped. Although twin mattress was a bit narrower than american standard, I found it quite comfortable. There are other beds in other rooms and mine had two twin beds with put together option. Metro station Mendeleevskaya is within 5-7 minutes walk (through shortcuts between buildings). Tram just at the end of the block. Three food stores nearby. Several museums in a walking distance, two restaurants within 10 minutes walk, pharmacies and cafes near the metro (main street). Paid parking, about $7 per day. Breakfasts served by request, diners could be ordered for about $8. Clean and neat. Great wi-fi connection. Big new windows. Very friendly and supportive all female team.
