Pros:

The external hired staff is very friendly and kind.

Cons:

It is a family-run hotel. I initially booked a single room but was given an extremely small room with no balcony or view, which felt more like a box than a proper room. When I asked if it was possible to move to a room with a view, I was told I would need to pay extra for an upgrade. I agreed because I didn’t want to spend the night in such a confined space, especially after already paying €126.

What made this disappointing was that the hotel appeared to have only three or four guests at the time, so charging extra for the upgrade felt unnecessarily petty. Ironically, the upgraded room was still quite small.

The hotel itself is quite old and dated. The bathroom and décor feel tired, and there is very little soundproofing — I could clearly hear conversations happening at reception from my room.

The spa was also underwhelming. One of the rooms was not functional, and the steam room was barely warm.

Overall, I feel I significantly overpaid for this stay. In my opinion, this property would be reasonable at around €80 per night, but certainly not the €150 I ended up paying. I wouldn’t recommend it at that price point.

Pros:

Wir sind sehr freundlich empfangen worden. Unser Kurzurlaub war sehr erholsam.
Die Zimmer waren sehr sauber und gemütlich. Das Hallenbad lädt von früh bis spät zur Bewegung ein und das Frühstück lässt keine Wünsche offen.

Komfortables Hotel in wunderschoener Lage in Seenaehe
Pros:

Sehr gepflegtes, grosszügiges Hotel mit phantastischen Blick auf den Wolfgangsee, im Stil etwas veraltert. Sehr geraeumige Zimmer (mit Balkon). Ruhige Zimmer zur Seeseite
Wunderschöne oberirdische Schwimmhalle mit grossem Schwimmbecken über dem Spa bereich. Frühstücksbuffet war reichhaltig.

Cons:

Abendkarte könnte etwas reichhaltiger sein und die Gerichtpräsentation war etwas nüchtern

Pros:

Frühstück war ausreichend und sehr gut. Rezeption freundlich und hilfsbereit. Hotel? Nein ein Schloss zum wohlfühlen, großer Balkon mit einem tollen Aussicht zum See und Zentrum.

Cons:

Bett hart, kann reklamiert werden für eine weiche Unterlage.
