We arrived late, after a long journey. Hotel had no notice of our booking….
This could have been a disaster but thanks to the amazing lady on reception, it wasn’t. With her limited English and our limited French, we explained the situation, she found us a room, arranged for a chef to come in and cook us dinner, found us towels, toiletries etc and generally looked after us really well. We had a fantastic stay and it was very comfortable and relaxing. Strongly recommend. I just wish I had got the receptionist’s name so I could thank her personally here.
Orribile.. dopo aver preso tutto il giorno del freddo siamo arrivati presso la struttuta intorno alle 20.15 e ci è stato comunicato che non era possibile effettuare la cena. quindi cia siamo cercati una pizzeria.. al nostro rientro appena saliti in camera il riscaldamento non funzionava e siamo rimasti al freddo praticamente tutta la notte .. (la temperatura fuori era di 4/5 gradi ). ci siamo docuti fare la doccia la freddo. il ragazzo alla reception ha fatto di tutto per non farci stare al freddo .. ma l'impianto non funzionava.

Terrible
My stay here was initially complicated due to the hotel staff saying the payment was not received. First we dealt with a man who was okay, but then we dealt with a lady who was very rude and has absolutely no place in the hospitality industry. I opened a chat with Expedia and they were able to rectify the situation but the hotel didn't answer them for several minutes. My fiancé (a Tunisian man) noticed that the lady went behind the counter to take the phone call and was extremely quiet on the matter until the news came to the owner. I finally got into my room after a long travel from Sousse to Sidi Bouzid. The following day, my fiancé was waiting for me downstairs and was informed about the taxes that should be paid. He acknowledged it and informed me about it and we carried on with our day. The following day, I was confronted by the male staff member about said taxes and I informed him I was aware of them. When I tried to leave for some daily activities, a different lady demanded that I pay taxes and informed me that I had to pay them on check in despite this not being made clear beforehand (as opposed to any time or check out). I got a rash and flaky dry skin after showering at this hotel. I don't know if it was to do with the water quality or the quality of the detergent used for the towels. There was also a cockroach in my bathroom. The cafe attached to the hotel serves below average coffee and doesn't have a professional barista. A very disappointing experience indeed.
