Pros:

It's really unique place with the atmosphere from an old days. Maybe sometimes the interior is yoo much, but it's personal taste

Pros:

One of a kind, unusual, and historic. Very welcoming hotel staff and fascinating, charming grounds. There are numerous things to show children-- rabbits, old cars, etc. And the breakfasts were awesome!
The nearby town is nondescript but the location was good forvisiting the Hill of the Crosses, Bauska Castle, and Rundales.
Would stay here again.

Pros:

Everything, it’s an amazing manor house with a beautiful, yet a little creepy talking bird living inside.
I loved the fact that you get the keys from the room and from the palace itself, since all the visitors are gone after 7 pm and the whole garden and the palace is just for you.

Retro gateway for weekend
Pros:

Well-kept manor with plenty things to do for a short stay. Very good work from the admin’s side. Thanks for assistance with special occasion. Wonderful experience with retro clothes and special thanks to the photo master.

Cons:

The room was very cold upon arrival, the waitress at the main restaurant requires training (tried her best, but not very experienced), entry and leaving instructions by car needs to be delievered in a clear manner. Compared to our ladt visit in summer found the territory less kept, but lets hope it is only due to the beginning of the season

Pros:

Werry nice staf and wonderfull atmosphere in castle. Wonderfull garden and outside areas :)

Cons:

Everything was wonderfull, except expirience about diner in restaurant. Snack plates was not the freshest one and main course also did not made us hapier. BUT BREAKFEST was wonderfull :)

I enjoyed the place
Pros:

Great breakfast! The staff members great! The administrator at the main hotel was great!
The lady who was selling honey too. A gentleman who was telling stories about the palace was interesting to listen to.

Cons:

The lady who was selling hats and other items made from wool. My son tried one and she impolitely said: they are not for children. So I didn't even consider buying, but I liked one.
