Comfortable one night stay
Pros:

Friendly staff on arrival room was clean and comfortable and the hotel was quiet overnight.

Cons:

Unfortunately the bar and restaurant are closed on a Monday which we didn’t realise until after making the booking so we went out for food plenty of places locally when we returned the car park which had been empty was full to capacity making parking an issue I guess the building is used for some other function on a Monday evening.

Noisy.
Pros:

Clean as always. I stay here fairly frequently to visit family.

Cons:

On this occasion I was staying on the top floor as a solo traveller. Prior to my stay, I was not informed that there would be a party on the ground floor until midnight. The bass was incredibly loud all evening. I came down stairs twice to find an employee to enquire about a possible room transfer and there was no one about. Understandably, I was not prepared to walk into someone’s party to complain.
I phoned the out of hours number too but got an answer machine.
When I complained in the morning, an apology was given and the suggestion I should have come downstairs? That was it. Customers service has really fallen short on this visit.

great for 1 or a 2 night stay, value for money
Pros:

the staff could not do enough, extremely helpful, room was comfortable enough, including the bed, but springs a bit noisy, both dinner menu was great & dinner was executed perfectly.

Cons:

A little disappointed with the breakfast, full English not up to expectations did give feedback to the chef, although the menu itself has plenty of choice & the continental aspect was very good. A shame there was no lounge area or separate bar to enjoy prior & post meal.

Friendly, good value hotel. Would use again if in the area.
Pros:

Friendly staff. Basic but comfortable room. Ample parking.

Cons:

Cooked breakfast was not cooked to order and tasted like it had been under a heat lamp for a while before serving.
