Pros:

Geschichtsträchtig und außergewöhnlich, super freundliches Personal, top saubere Zimmer, das Essen im Restaurant ist hervorragend lecker, der Jazzkeller und die Band dort von Weltruhm, die Betten waren sehr groß und bequem, die Lage ist ruhig und man ist in fünf Minuten mit dem kostenlosen Bus in der Innenstadt. Im Sommer muss es ein Traum sein, leider waren wir jetzt im Winter dort. So ein Kleinod findet man nicht wieder. Top Empfehlung und der Besuch des Jazzkellers ist ein Muss

On voulait boire un verre au bar à côté. C'était pas encore l'heure de fermer mais la jeune femme voulait fermer plus tôt et n'était pas sympathique avec nous....

An intimate, memorable, unique boutique hotel. Will remain as my go-to hotel in Bern!
Pros:

A very intimate, memorable, unique-feeling boutique hotel. Our guest room was thoughtfully appointed with everything we needed to feel comfortable for a six night stay. The staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful. Although maybe a 25 minute walk to the city center, the #21 bus to the Bern Bahnhof drives by relentlessly and the hotel provides guest with a free pass for all Bern buses and trams.

Cons:

I wish it were a little more affordable, but, so it goes in Switzerland. Honestly, I have no criticism of the property.

Es war mir ein inneres Glockenläuten.
Pros:

Old school aber genau mein Geschmack. Und das freundlichste Personal ever. Ich komme gerne wieder und dann besuche ich auch den Jazzkeller.
