A beautiful and authentic stay in the heart of the Medina, with exceptional attention to detail.
Pros:

A stunning hotel in the heart of the Medina, yet incredibly peaceful and quiet as soon as you step inside. The architecture beautifully combines modern Tunisian design with tradition, and every detail feels carefully considered. The scent of orange blossom and jasmine when you enter is wonderful and immediately creates a very special atmosphere.

I stayed in a Junior Suite and absolutely loved it. The interiors are beautifully curated, from the furniture and decorative details to the books about Tunis in the room. Everything felt elegant, authentic and impeccably clean.

The manager was excellent. My room was ready about 20 minutes later than expected, and as a gesture of hospitality, I was offered a complimentary spa massage and fresh fruit was brought to my room. A small delay turned into a wonderful example of exceptional service.

The rooftop is beautiful, and Dar El Jeld restaurant is a real gem, with a gorgeous setting and excellent Tunisian cuisine.

A truly special hotel, full of character and attention to detail, right in the heart of the Medina.

Cons:

The only reason I wouldn’t give a perfect 10 is a few small details that, at a 5-star hotel, can make a difference.

I arrived before check-in time, and while I completely understand that my room was not expected to be ready yet, the welcome from the two receptionists that morning could have been a little warmer. I was simply directed to the rooftop, whereas a more welcoming approach — perhaps offering a refreshing drink while waiting — would have felt more in line with a 5-star experience.

That said, the manager was absolutely impeccable and later handled the slight delay with exceptional care, offering me a complimentary massage and sending fresh fruit to my room.

The spa experience was pleasant, although I felt the massage itself could be more refined for a spa at this level. As it was kindly offered complimentary, I very much appreciated the gesture.

These are only small details in an otherwise wonderful stay, but they are the little touches that make the difference between a very good experience and a perfect one.

Magnifique hôtel pour séjourner dans Tunis
Pros:

Un endroit magnifique, des suites superbes, une décoration léchée, un service de chambre parfait et un roof top très agréable pour petit déjeuner ou dîner. Une ravissante boutique dans l’hôtel et un petit déjeuner varié et excellent

Cons:

L’hôtel ne nous a pas prévenu de la présence des rabatteurs qui se font passer pour le service de sécurité de l’hôtel ( grosse arnaque qui nous a coûté cher ) et pour laquelle tout le monde est au courant mais ne dit rien sous prétexte que c’est le jeu …. Ni de l’imperarativité de ne pas se promener sans un guide local dans les souks…. Ni que les bureaux changes sont fermés le samedi … venant d’un 5 étoiles ces infos nous auraient évité beaucoup de déboires ! Il vaut mieux prendre les taxis officiels commandés à l’hôtel… Enfin tous les musées ferment à 17 h et n’acceptent plus personne entre 15 h 30 et 15 h 45 …

Superbe hôtel au coeur de la Medina historique de Tunis, services de haute qualité.

Tout était parfait à l'exception d'une petite mésaventure lors du spa.

Cons:

souci lors d'une séance de spa, réservée pour un soin global: hammam, gommage, massage et pédicure. Après un temps très long passé dans le hamam, je suis passé au gommage , puis on m'a laissé dans la salle de repos pendant pas mal de temps. Je n'avais pas pris de telephone ni de montre et n'ai pas pu suivre le temps. En finale, il ne restait plus assez de temps pour le massage ni la pédicure (commencée mais non terminée). J'avais réservé deux heures, je n'ai fait qu'un gommage.. on m'a dit que c'était à cause d'un problème d'électricité dans le hammam et qu'il fallait du temps pour qu'il chauffe ..

autre point: les issues de secours ne sont pas indiquées dans l'immeuble et l'indicateur de secours (la boule verte) est mal positionnée dans l'ascenseur. c'est un point très important déjà signalé.

Établissement de grand charme, alliant raffinement et luxe non ostentatoire. Parfait pour découvrir Tunis.
Pros:

Emplacement parfait pour visiter la Médina. Taille des suites. Extrême propreté des chambres et de l’établissement. Qualité de l’accueil. Personnel d’une extrême gentillesse et très professionnel et de très bon conseil.
