Pros:

I like this hotel even though their restaurant menu is limited. I have stayed here few times. It's worth it.

Nice property but service leaves much to wish for
Pros:

Calm and clean and serene, ten minutes away from temple, has a good breakfast spread

Cons:

The ACs and TV were not working or went off multiple times, toilet flushes were not working. No fan in any rooms, so can become really hot in summer. We complained about it multiple times and no response from the staff.

Very far from temple and location is not good

Kamer was erg ruim en fijn en schoon.
Zwembad was erg fijn.

Cons:

Restaurant, erg sober, geen bar wat wel op booking .com stond, geen mogelijkheid voor massage. Geen winkeltje.
En zwembad heeft wel de nodige onderhoud nodig veel roosters. Waren er uit of kapot.

Loved the service!
Pros:

Friendly and courteous staff, clean, well-maintained rooms, breakfast reminders, everything was great. I reached the property with a mild fever and they even helped me with some tablets because of which my Giripradakshina went very well. Was so pleased with their service.

Overall, a comfortable and well-located hotel with excellent service.
Pros:

This was my first time staying at Athena, and it was a wonderful experience. The location is excellent, offering a peaceful resort-like atmosphere that is both calm and relaxing. The property was very clean, well-maintained, and provided a pleasant environment throughout our stay.

The staff were exceptionally accommodating, especially when I made some mistakes during the booking process. They were understanding and went out of their way to assist us. Since we were travelling with elderly family members and children, they provided a spacious room that made our stay much more comfortable.

Even though it was a peak travel period, the staff never failed to respond to our requests promptly and professionally. Their hospitality truly stood out. The hotel also has a beautiful swimming pool, although unfortunately we did not have the opportunity to use it during this trip.

The breakfast was good, the laundry service was fast and efficient, and the overall ambience of the hotel was excellent. I would definitely recommend Athena to anyone looking for a comfortable and relaxing stay in Tiruvannamalai.

A special thank you to the Athena team for the thoughtful farewell gift upon our departure. It was a lovely gesture that made our stay even more memorable and reflected the warmth and care shown by the staff throughout our visit.

I would also like to commend the staff for their honesty and helpfulness when we accidentally left one of our bags behind after checkout. They kept it safely, promptly informed us, and ensured that it was returned to us without any issues. This level of care and professionalism gave us great peace of mind and further reinforced the excellent service provided by the team.
