In Ordnung für kurzen Aufenthalt aber zu Laut und Frühstück schlecht

Die Zimmer waren schön mit dem Akropolisblick und die Ausstattung bequem.

Cons:

Das Frühstück hat uns nicht begeistert, geringe Auswahl, keine Backwaren. Der Frühstücksraum war im März kalt, die Beheizung mit einem Gasbrenner nur pro forma. Nachts ziehen Horden feiernder Touristen und Einheimischer durch die Straße am Hotel, es ist laut. Hinzu kam am Sonntag die Entfernung von Abfällen (Abpumpen von Frittierfett oder Ähnliches) um 7:00 Uhr morgens direkt vor unserem Zimmern stand der nötige Kompressor).

Great view, terrible experience otherwise.
Pros:

Good location very close to the Acropolis and Ancient Agora.

Cons:

We were met with smiles and lemonade on check-in, however our experience quickly turned negative. We found in one bathroom a broken toilet seat which almost caused a serious accident for our elderly mother with a knee replacement, a filthy shower curtain which was quickly removed by staff and never replaced. Hotel staff's response to these two issues was to send maintenance staff to repair the bathroom issue at a late hour, with an offer for complimentary dinner and an offer to change the room in question to a lower floor without a balcony view, separated from our own room. Following this ordeal which ruined our evening and night, we were then surprised to find stained linens in the second room, both bed sheets and pillow cases and a stained towel and dirty shower in the second bathroom. We did not shower in these conditions and slept on towels, disgusted with the linens underneath and did not report these additional issues as to deal with the staff again would've meant a sleepless night and would've ruined our only day for touring Athens. Everything described here was communicated to the hotel management team after our vacation, with a request for a partial compensation for the serious inconveniences caused by their maintenance and cleaning staff. We were met with polite denials at first, which turned into legal threats when we brought up the fact we would post pictures of what we found in their hotel on check-in. Needless to say, based on our experience, we cannot recommend this hotel, the conditions and aggravation dealing with its management is not worth your time and money. Plenty of other options in the area which we now regret overlooking.

Excellent hotel
Pros:

Excellent location - very close to all the major sites and a great view of the Acropolis. Good breakfast and charming staff. Good water pressure in the shower and comfortable beds.

Cons:

The safe in our bedroom wasn’t attached to the wall so it didn’t seem very secure and we didn’t use it.

Awesome location and delightful garden deck bar
Pros:

Nice young gentleman met us with lemonade, brought docs to table for check in , walked us to room, carried our luggage, brought us snacks when he found we would miss comp breakfast!

Cons:

Would have liked to turn lights off in balcony

Pretty much summed it up in the "what we liked."The enitre staff and hotel location was awesome.
Pros:

We loved every thing. From the moment we arrived early on Sunday March 29, 2026 Kyriakos was an execeptitonal Manager. He secured our bags and then we went to visit the acropolis. Super close. When we came back - Bags in room and the view was exaclty as shown on the Web. Perfect centarl location next to the Acoropils. The walk around balcony was beautiful. We stayed one night but wished we stayed more - we had to connect with a cruise. The staff such as Eleni and Elia and of course Giogos were so professional and super accomodating. The exceptional service of Hotel Thissio employees will defintely make us cone back in the future. Finally the breakfast which was included was awesome. A big shout out to the entire staff!!!!! Kyriakos was lazer focused on making sure the guests were happy and he achieved that by his actions. If we could give him a 15 out of 10 we would. Thank you Kyriakos!!!!!

How long till I get to come back?
Pros:

Friendliest staff. Amazing neighborhood. Will not stay anywhere else when I go to Athens. They are phenomenal. Breakfast was delicious. I had a wonderful time and can’t recommend this property enough. Made my bucket list vacation perfect and I mean perfect. 10/10 no notes. ❤️

Cons:

Not a problem for me personally but it would be a little bit hard for people with a wheelchair to navigate.

Pros:

ロケーションが良くスタッフの皆さんもとても親切でした。
空港から電車に乗りティシオの駅から歩いてすぐでした。
近くには沢山のレストランがあり良かったです。

Cons:

部屋が1階だったので、外に歩く人が結構近くに見えた。
アクロポリスの景色は綺麗だったけど正面ではなくサイドビューでした。
朝食は普通でした。

Pros:

Really helpful friendly staff. Wonderful view. Great location. Very comfy bed and good shower.

Cons:

You're paying for the view basically. Breakfast egg dishes were overly salty. Except for the excellent French toast.

Cons:

早餐不是自助的，而是早晨自己点，最离谱的是我们九点到餐厅，点完早餐，上了咖啡和酸奶后，整整等了一个半小时，十点半才上主食，中间还去催了我几次，但是等待期间也没有一个人来解释一下原因，吃完早餐都快11点了，白白浪费了一个多小时，真的太离谱了。一起在餐厅等的客人都非常着急。

I highly recommend this hotel and, whenever I come back to Athens, this hotel eill be our family’s numner one choice.
Pros:

The hotel is very well located, very clean and confortable. An abundant and delicious “ a la carte” breakfast was included,at no extra cost. Prime attention by the hotel staff made our stay a very pleasant experience.

Excellent hotel in Athens!
Pros:

The location is absolutely amazing. The hotel is within walking distance of major monuments and historical sites, making it very easy to explore Athens on foot.

The views and surroundings are beautiful, especially being so close to iconic landmarks.

The hotel was very clean and well maintained. The room was spotless and comfortable.

The breakfast was excellent fresh, delicious, and with a great variety of options. It was one of the highlights of the stay.

The staff was friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout my visit.

Cons:

Everything exceeded my expectations, and I would absolutely stay here again.
