The hotel is very clean and the staff are friendly

Here is a thing : you should understand what you are getting yourself in. All rooms have no windows and no bathrooms/toilets. No AC. Horrible breakfast. Rooms are tiny, if you are lying in the bed, your feet are touching the wall. Hardly enough space for one bag. Lack of oxygen. However, this place is very cheap, central location, close to public transportation, very clean. It may work for some people on a limited budget.

Pokoj nízký, bez oken, v rozměru 2m2, proležená matrace s dírami . Není kam dát věci ani kufr. 1věšák, 2 ramínka, 1 šuplík. Vynikající snídaně a čistota. Dobrá lokalita hned u metra. První den, jsem byla přesvědčena, že je to katastrofa, ale týden se to vydržet dá.

Замечательный отель, очень приятные и вежливые сотрудники, чистота во всех помещениях. Единственный существенный минус - очень маленькие номера. Но и стоимость не большая.

The big Issue /Problem: When present my papers to get a Visa in RU Embassy call them to ask about my reservation told: Not Confirmed!, maybe by mistake, then return my docs. again but I could approve the reservation of the other 2 hotels then accept again. After that: I sent e-mail also Hotels.com made e-mails & calls without any reply. Also, I sent to embassy the e-mail of the Electronic reservation … This behaviour can destroy Visa then Trip.

Price was great. Check in was a puzzle. Unusually hard to break puzzle when you don't know how to speak Russian. A steel door at street with nowhere in my instructions how to break the code. At Google Maps phone number (turned out right) someone answered and insisted he doesn't know English nor can help.

When i found someone entering, i sneaked in and so were couple of Russian gentlemenbwho were looking for the mysterious Boutique Hotel and we finally got to reception after 2 more steel doors and a lift.

Room was not air conditioned so i had to unplug the fridge that caused lots of overheating to the extremely tiny room. But if there was at least an fan sucking CO2 from room, I would have thout it healthy but there was not.

At the beginning you'd think room is suffocatingly tiny but surprisingly once in bed (which i am there for) it wasn't a bad room at all.

Clean but not cleaned on daily basia when I am outside, the room (no toilets) had the entire checklist of 3 star hotels: mirror, garbage bin, hangers, safe, fridge, study, coffee and tea, and even a tiny window openning to the corridor.

Toilets were ok except with movement sensors which don't detect you sitting on toilet, so if they turn off the light, stand up and you'll have the lights back. Other than that, the toilets were clean and tidy and had face towels most of the time. Tiny but very sufficient.

Breakfast wasn't strange at all. Which was a pleasant surprise. It's a surprise really.

The staff were friendly.

This is the best hostel I have ever stayed in. Although it’s my second time trying out a hostel but I’m totally impressed!

Tive muita dificuldade com relação a comunicação, devido ao idioma.

Wonderful place! Thankfully I had a friend with me when I got there who knew how to use the push button to get into the hotel. I would have figured it out, but not as quickly as she did.

Hotel com quartos bem apertados! A parte positiva são os banheiros que sempre estavam bem limpos!
Para ir ao centro histórico: metro fica a 10 minutos e se quiser ir andando fica a 20 minutos. Custo benefício bom!

The place was easy to find, but a little confusing at first once inside if you don’t speak Russian. The service was good and the place was very clean.

I enjoyed my 2 week stay at this hostel. The rooms are tiny of course but there was nothing I was disappointed in because I knew they were small. I was pleasantly surprised with the cleanliness of this place, the cleaning ladies are constantly doing their rounds and my room was cleaned every night. A small carry-on can fit under the bed but it can be pretty crowded with a larger suitcase. I also liked that there was security at the desk 24 hours. Breakfast was pretty good too. The only thing is you can hear in the morning people getting up and eating breakfast but thats understandable as the rooms are thin . I was here for work and all I needed was a place to sleep & wifi, so for me considering how cheap and it being a "hostel" I was happy.

Great location. Very clean. You can see the three ladies who work there very much concerned about keeping the bathrooms, Kitchenaid, hallways, etc. Very clean. Within a small space, they hace managed to organize and offer a good service. It Is difficult to find although it Is on an avenue, there Is not a big sign at the main entrance of the building. There Is a secondary entrance and after that another elevator to go go floor 3. The entrance hall of the building Is old and badly kept, however the hotel Is completely different. Another thing Is that noone speak English at the hotel, so it's Is difficult to communicate with them.

Truly a rare find for Moscow at this price, excellent location (close to the metro + walking distance from the city center), private rooms, spotless premises and breakfast included. Bathrooms are shared but always in pristine condition and easily available. Do bring earplugs (also sold at reception) if you're a light sleeper.
