Cons:

Extremely disappointing and unacceptable experience. We were forced to cut our stay short and leave one night early because of the conditions in our room.

The room was extremely cold, and I personally went to reception to ask for the heating to be turned on. I specifically explained that my son already had a very bad cold and that I was concerned about him staying in such a cold room. Reception told me that the maximum temperature they could set was 22°C. I accepted this and simply asked them to turn it on.

Despite my request, and despite the staff being fully aware that we had a sick child with us, the heating was NEVER turned on. We were left to spend the night in an extremely cold and uncomfortable room.

The following day, I went back to reception because nothing had been done. At that point, we decided that we could not continue our stay under these conditions and left the resort one night earlier than planned.

To make matters worse, I was NOT refunded for the unused night, even though we left early because the resort failed to provide adequate heating after I had specifically raised the issue with reception.

I find this completely unacceptable. A warm room is not a luxury — it is a basic expectation when paying to stay at a resort. We gave the staff the opportunity to resolve the problem, explained that our son was already unwell, and still nothing was done.

We lost a night of our family holiday, had to leave early, and were still charged for a night we did not stay.

Terrible customer service, very poor handling of a serious complaint, and a complete lack of consideration for guests. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend this resort, especially to families travelling with children.

O experiență foarte frumoasă la Monterai Resort! Am fost cazați doar o singură noapte, dar ne-am simțit atât de bine încât deja știm că vom reveni pentru un sejur mai lung.

Mulțumiri speciale doamnei Cristiana, care ne-a întâmpinat cu multă căldură și amabilitate. Camera și baia au fost impecabil de curate, iar resortul este spațios, aerisit și foarte bine întreținut.

Am apreciat mult facilitățile, dar și atmosfera superbă de seară, în jurul focului de tabără.

Felicitări întregii echipe pentru ospitalitate și pentru atmosfera frumoasă pe care o creați! Recomandăm cu mare drag Monterai Resort și cu siguranță vom reveni. ❤️

We had a wonderful stay! Everything was excellent, from the delicious breakfast to the friendly and helpful staff. The room and all areas were very clean, and the housekeeping was done perfectly. Everyone was welcoming and professional, making our stay comfortable and enjoyable. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!
