Great location and clean rooms
Pros:

Location to restaurants. Hotel room was spotless and hotel staff pleasant and helpful

Cons:

Noise after 9 pm from Michigan Ave. It was Mexican Independence holiday and cars honking, etc went on past 10:30 pm

Room in a bit of disrepair; otherwise no big issues
Pros:

clean, comfortable beds. Nice and extremely accomodating desk personnel.
Great location by Millenium park on Michigan ave

Cons:

hand-held shower broken.
Windowshade (powered) inoperative: kept the room rather dark.
Window was a few feet away from the next building, with big windows...privacy issue
Restaurant service polite but slow: understaffed and busy

Good, centrally-located base of operations for urban explorers.
Pros:

The location was outstanding, two blocks south of the river on Michigan and diagonally across the street from Millennium Park. The Museum Campus and Navy Pier were both within reasonable walking distance (less than 30 minutes to each, along pleasant and interesting routes). Most downtown attractions were even closer and more accessible. Stations accessing all of the Loop lines and the Red Line were just short walks away. It was perfect for our touring plans. YMMV, of course.

Cons:

The room (a City King, photo of out view included) was small, which was not unexpected for an urban hotel where square footage is at a premium. It was appointed nicely enough, apart from the nightstands, which didn't really have enough available surface area to be useful. But, on the whole, the living space felt somewhat cramped and close. It was fit for our purpose, though, since we packed light and didn't spend much time in the room.

Chicago became one of my favorite travel destinations, in part because of Arlo.
Pros:

I felt safe in this area of Chicago. And the Arlo employees were amazing. Kudos to Antoine, especially!

Cons:

There was really little to dislike about my stay at Arlo. I'll definitely try to stay here again.

Super location. Super friendly staff.
Pros:

The location was about as central as can be. Right in the Loop and a stones throw from the river walks. Also short fistance from nearest train station (Washibgton). Room spacious with everything we needed from fridge to microwave plus shower which was brilliant). Staff extremely cautious.

Cons:

The breakfast was extra which was clearly displayed but is pricey. Akdo the evening meal a bit pricey. Then there are hundreds of good food choices so close by.

Gorgeous boutique hotel, small rooms perfect for solo travelers

I loved staying at this hotel, the rooms are small but well organized and spotlessly clean. The staff is friendly and helpful

Cons:

Free breakfast was advertised but I couldn’t find it? Not a big deal but I wish everyone was on the same page with amenities included in the room price
