A beautiful quiet place away from the noise.
Pros:

The accommodation is in a beautiful location, the nature is divine. Breakfast very varied and tasty.

Cons:

The hotel rooms are a bit old-fashioned, and in bad condition - the walls are cracked. We believe that the spa area with the pools is very nice, but as we were only passing through, we didn't have a chance to check it out.

I wouldnt stay again, especially for this price.
Pros:

Room size is big, rooms are clean.

Cons:

Old fashion hotel and rooms, needs some renovation. Rooms unnesseccary big with a lot empty space. There are only basic things in the room. Food at restaurant was low quality and the waiter was so rude. He dont answer questions properly, when we ask in english he reply in local language with short answer.

Early Wakeup in Landhotel Schicklberg

It is a very nice hotel located in a very quiet area and surrounded by nature. Room was nice, clean and big enough. I stayed for only one night there was not enough time to fully explore the hotel. Good breakfast.

Cons:

For some reason hotel was not aware of our booking but at the end we managed to get a room. At evening we had dinner and I got a little bit strange hamburger (Austrian food that my colleagues had was OK). My room was on the first floor, just above the entrance and parking - it was very noisy in the morning (car engines starting and exhaust fumes entering the room).

Die viel gelobte österreichische Gastfreundschaft?

Dieses Haus hinterlässt verschiedene Eindrücke. Am freundlichsten sind die Servicefachleute im Restaurant, an der Rezeption wurde einzig unser Sohn, vom Juniorchef professionell verabschiedet, mit der Rückfrage ob alles in Ordnung gewesen sei und einem herzlichen Dankeschön und dem Wunsch einer guten Heimreise.
Als meine Tochter und ich bezahlten hat man sich nicht mal bedankt, ganz zu schweige gefragt ob alles gepasst hat. Immerhin haben wir 4 Nächte mit à la carte Nachtessen in diesem Haus verbracht. Die Küche und die Bedienung machen vieles wieder gut was beim Frühstück überhaupt nicht klappt und einem 4 Sterne Hotel nicht würdig ist. Es gab keinen Morgen an dem nicht irgendetwas gefehlt hat oder nicht aufgefüllt wurde ohne das man Nachfragen musste. Die verantwortliche Person ist fehl am Platz oder sollte besser kontrolliert werden, dass das Buffet aufgefüllt wird und Kleckereien welche die Gäste verursachen weggeputzt werden. Wirklich schade das hier auch die Freundlichkeit nicht passt und es auch sehr schwierig ist mit der Gastfreundschaft der Senior-Gastgeber. Wenn man die Bewertungen vor uns anschaut dann sieht man gut das sich die Führung des Hauses nicht, um teilweise gut gemeinte Ratschläge, futiert. Wir als Gastronomen welche über 35 Jahre Betriebe geführt haben, wissen das es kein einfaches Unterfangen ist einen so grossen Betrieb ohne Zwischenfälle zu führen, nur wäre es toll wenn man das eine oder andere was schief geht verbessert und die Abläufe aufarbeitet

Gute Unterkunft mit kleinen "Macken"

Aufenthalt war soweit Ok. Zimmer sind sauber, Bad und WC (mit Panzerband reparierter Spülkasten) ist etwas ins alter gekommen. Wellness war um 21 Uhr geschlossen obwohl bis 22:30 Uhr an der Tür steht. Leider ist in dem Bereich auch ein Getränkeautomat und somit nicht zugänglich. Das Essen im Restaurant war lecker, leider wurde die Vorspeise vergessen.
