We visited for our honeymoon and had an incredible experience, Madushani was also a pleasure to deal with and provided great service. Setting was beautiful and room was spacious and very clean, lovely balcony with jacuzzi which was the icing on the cake. Breakfast was excellent with many options. Highly recommended!
Perfect location, friendly staff and exceptional landscaping
The facilities are excellent, especially the indoor heated pool and the separate restaurant. Loads of staff on hand to make the stay welcoming including golf buggies to take you around the hotel grounds.

Location and view
The hotel is a nice place with good view but it‘s not what one would expect from a five star hotel and therefore absolutely overpriced.
The staff is friendly but not authentic. They did their duty but were not interested in making it a good stay for you.
The pool appears quite inviting in the photos, but its architecture causes it to become extremely noisy very quickly, making it less relaxing.
The rooms, particularly in the main building, are quite old. The bathrooms need an update, and our door didn’t close properly. The overall soundproofing was poor, so we were constantly woken up by every sound in the corridor.
The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of dishes, but the quality was mediocre. Everything was cold and unappetizing. They only served filtered coffee, and cappuccinos came with an extra charge.
Overall, the hotel is okay, but it falls short of what we would expect from a luxury hotel that charges accordingly. Given the price, we cannot recommend staying here.
We loved the rooms, the buffet breakfast and dinner, the heated indoor pool, the views and the cool weather.

The location a bit remote and far away from the main attractions.

Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist nicht gerechtfertigt. Für ein stilles 5dl Mineralwasser mussten wir 6 Euro bezahlen, was in Sri Lanka doch sehr teuer ist.
Ein klassisches 5 Sterne Hotel, welches in die Jahre gekommen ist.

Incredible views and great service. Buffet breakfast was delicious, with a good selection. Beds were very comfortable and the staff were very helpful.
The restaurant food is nice but mostly a western selection - it would be great to have had more Sri Lankan food options.
