A great option if you want to experience a quieter side of Kandy. Or have somewhere to escape after busy days exploring
Pros:

Beautiful hotel situated uphill away from the hussle and bussle of Kandy.

Hi-spec rooms, comfy bed and working smart TV.

Fantastic WiFi.

Delicious breakfast.

Very friendly and welcoming staff.

Large pool which get a good amount of sun in the day.

Cons:

As beautiful as the hotel was it could have been cleaner.

Excellent value for money
Pros:

Manager was v accomadative.
Are rooms were allocated in 3 different locations, we.were with young girls, but he managed to sort out rooms next to each other.

The property was very beautiful, clean,good location and staff were friendly and helpful. Especially the manager kind and helpful in every thing.we had breakfast both English & srilanka was delicious 😋...I recommend to stay there if you're planning to stay in kandy.

Une petite pause reposante et confortable.
Pros:

Hôtel très confortable avec une piscine dont les enfants ont bien profité le soir. Personnel très attentionné et discret. L’hôtel est bien pensé, les chambres sont dispatchées par petits paliers.

Cons:

This hotel was NOT clean… the bathroom needs a good clean and the mugs, bedding and towels either need a good wash or replacing with new ones. The floors and windows have not been cleaned in a while either. The room was stuffy.

If the swimming pool had sunlight and sunbeds this would be a 9 because the rest was great.
Pros:

The location is great in the hills with the other hotels. The bed was very comfortable. We liked the room.

Cons:

The swimming pool had almost no sunlight so it wasn’t very functional. Also there is a big window above the room (picture) which doesn’t feel very private + a lot of light in to the room.

Well worth staying here.
Pros:

The room was bright, modern and clean . The bed was comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. Plentiful and beautifully cooked. The new Manager JANAKA, and his staff were so helpful, polite, fast to fulfil any request, always smiling and ready with advice of where to go, what to do. It was a real pleasure staying here. There were a couple of small hic-cups, but with Janaka in the role of Manager, and his lovely staff, I think I would happily recommend this lovely spot to any visitor. Value for money, it was pretty good.

Cons:

Our room was a little noisy, being next to the dining room and kitchen. I personally would suggest this room not be used as a guest suite if you want to sleep in later than 7am.

The best stay in Kandy
Pros:

Excellent room. It's surrounded by hills and greenery.

Cons:

I wish they had breakfast inclusive rates or more affordable breakfast options. Also it is a bit away from the city centre, but we had a car with us so we did not mind.

Hotel Kauwera Kandy
Pros:

Las instalaciones están limpias y son espaciosas.

Cons:

El hotel permite hacer fiestas en el bar, por lo que las paredes no están insonorizadas y se escucha todo, mas si la habitación esta al lado del bar. Tuvimos que comentar al servicio del hotel que bajaran la musica ya que no podíamos dormir, y se les tuvo que repetir dos veces..al final después de comentarlo enfadados nos hicieron caso.
