Aerotel Guangzhou - International Departure Hall Airside

This is a great option for a long layover -- the rooms are perfectly fine, and perfect to make you feel rejuvenated for the next leg of your journey. The only thing was that there was some airport construction going on that resulted in some loud noise in the room.

Could not get to the hotel and no way for me to contact them. So even though I paid but can't stay there.

Wonderful location. Wonderful staff. Quiet rooms (I am super super sensitive so do not go by me but I could hear doors open and shut and FAINT aircrafts). Nothing a tired person would be bothered by. :-)
IMPORTANT: Most do not know where it is, be careful. I walked out into exit and the kind staff came and got me. I had to do immigration etc. again. It is a great place for a stop over. I loved it. Staff is great too. Lovely restaurants around. Walk around and pick what you like!!

Very cozy and clean hotel inside airport. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful. We booked for 9hrs stay and she gave us extra 1 hour since our check out time is 4hrs more before our flight. She's very considerate.

Very convenient if you have a long layover but be aware a lot of people in the airport don’t know where it’s located which isn’t hard to find and also the rooms are very humid but it is a good place to rest for a couple hours

it is not the easiest place to find--some signage would be nice after clearing security--

Was a great choice for our 7 hour stopover at Guangzhou.
Tea and coffee maker was good.
Was able to get 5 hours sleep.
But rather expensive.

From the word go was great and if you have a long layover then this is for you.

DON'T STAY HERE. I was enroute to US (Guangzhou to Beijing to US) on international itinerary, but because at the Guangzhou airport my next flight was Beijing I could NOT enter the international area and thus could NOT access this hotel. Arrived at 10:30PM and it was a disaster. Interestingly, there was a massage parlor inside the hotel that allowed me to rent a massage table for $45 US and sleep on it - thank goodness. I will ban the Aerotel forever.

This is a great choice if you have an extended layover at the airport. The hotel is a little hard to find, but it is inside security (big plus) and very comfortable.

Was unable to check-in since the hotel is not accessible from outside. You need to have checked in with your flight before passing security and then you can access the hotel. This hotel is useless if you have a connection with a different cie since you have to go out through customs and then wait in the departure hall before checkin with your second flight. Lost a booking cost because it's not very well explained in the hotel description (it says "after customs" but we though it was still accessible from outside). Wrong description and we lost our money. Next time we'll book with another reservation site.

I chose this place for my mom because it was convenient for my mom’s 20 hour layover.

Be careful, you can’t get to this hotel without a boarding pass and if you are transiting from domestic to international with a layover, then you will likely not yet have your international boarding pass.

Took ages to find hotel due to lack of signage. Even the terminal staff were unaware of its location but after being redirected many times, ....after an hour of hunting , I was delighted to find superb accomodation.

The hotel is perfect for a small stay. It can be found after you clear security and customs on the 4th floor (look for signage to the napping area). The rooms are tiny but have good beds, showers and a pleasant staff.

I had a 19 hour stop over and booked this hotel online. It was quick and easy. I couldn’t find it and no one knew where it was, so I got sent to the other side of the airport. I phoned up the hotel and a gentleman came down to collect me and show me the way. He waited for me to get through immigration and everything. Staff were very friendly. Room was a nice size and very clean and tidy. Bathrooms are not attached but cleaned after every shower. Would recommend

Excellent hotel located within transit area, no need to leave secure area. Good, friendly staff. Have us wake up call for our flight. Spacious hot shower with adequate toiletries included. Double room was big enough for 2 adults and 2 children. Located by Napping Lounge signs through airport. Highly recommend for transits and having shower prior to long flight
