Organized bands of snow showers will continue across portions of the panhandle through Monday morning from the Icy Strait corridor southward to Ketchikan as a low in the northern Gulf shifts southward. Due to the hit or miss nature of showers, snowfall accumulations will be highly variable across the area. Highest snowfall accumulations of 2 to 4 inches are possible through Monday morning with visibilities 1 miles or less expected within heavier snow showers. Snow showers could impact the morning commute.

These snow showers may be moderate to heavy at times, resulting in variable snow amounts across the region. Under the heaviest snow showers showers, expect visibilities to be reduced to one mile or less with isolated areas seeing upwards of 2 to 6 inches of snowfall through Monday morning. * WHAT...Snow showers.
