Go to the center of Miraflores Kennedy Park
We visit the crossbow islands and observe glovebirds, penguins, sea lions, and beautiful and whimsical rock formations
Discover one of the first wine and pisco cellars in South America. It is an experience full of history, flavors, architecture, and the processes involved in making Peruvian wine and pisco. We will taste and learn about various varieties of wine and pisco.
We will travel across the immense sand dunes in the famous buggies and slide down the sandy slopes, providing us with an unforgettable experience and plenty of adrenaline. We will try sandboarding on different dunes, watch the sunset, and take lots of fun photos to remember the day. We spend the night in a hotel in the Huacachina Oasis surrounded by stars, dunes, and palm trees.
7 a.m. After enjoying our breakfast, we will head to the Maria Reiche airfield in Nasca. After checking our physical passports and weight, we will board our plane to fly over the Nazca lines for 35 minutes with highly experienced pilots and co-pilots. We will fly in a zigzag pattern over the Nazca pampas to observe majestic figures and geoglyphs that were once gods worshipped by the Nazca civilization : the condor, pelican, hummingbird, spider, astronaut, tree, and much more. The panoramic aerial experience allows for a journey through the ancient history of Peru and one of the driest deserts on the planet.
We explore irrigation systems that the Nazca engineers built to capture groundwater, which are still used today to irrigate the valley of the same name.
It is a wonderful experience to learn how the Nasca people captured their culture and beliefs in their ceramics, and how this art form continues to this day. At the end of the experience, we will have lunch at a traditional restaurant. Then we will return to Lima, dropping you off at your hotel.
