It will help you get your bearings and make the most of your stay in Norway. We recommend it as your first stop in Oslo. Our family-friendly tour brings the history of Norway to life with exciting stories and Nordic mythology. We’ll visit all of the famous landmarks in the city center, i.e. Aker Brygge, the Royal Palace, the Parliament, the University, the main streets, etc. You will also visit a medieval Fortress Akershus or Vigeland Sculpture Park (public transport paid by the travellers). But, we’ll also share hidden, local spots, things you’d miss if you didn’t know what to look for. We want you to feel the unique, friendly atmosphere of our quirky little city, not just to see the most popular tourist attractions. We’ll be showing you our favorite places to eat, drink and visit.
We shall start at your hotel in central Oslo. The tour shall include: City centre - Oslo of the 19th century: Royal Palace, Parliament, Karl Johan – the main street, Oslo Fjord, Aker Brygge (former ship yard), Medieval Fortress Akershus, Kvadraturen, the 17th century Oslo Cathedral Domkirke New National Opera House Oslo Fjord City Hall - short visit. Nobel Peace Prize. One or two of the museums of your choice in Bygdoy ie the Viking Skip Museum or Polar Ship Fram. Or the National Gallery (Edvard Munch paintings, French impressionists etc). Vigeland Sculpture Park (optional) - a walking tour in the park. A 3 hour tour will include at least one or two museums. It is most likely to be the Vikingship museum, Kon-Tiki museum, City Hall (Nobel Peace Prize), the National Gallery (E. Munch, Norwegian landscapes, French Impressionists etc) or Vigeland Park (Sculptural Park)
