Typical 2-Hour tours would usually comprise of one major site such as the Acropolis, Ancient Agora, National Archaeological Museum, New Acropolis Museum, the Plaka Neighbourhood, Temple of Zeus and Hadrian's Arch, or several smaller city sites such as the Olympic Stadium, Parliament and the changing of the Guards, the Roman Agora, and others.

A Typical 3-hour Tour would be comprised of several major sites, and a 4-Hour Tour would involve three or more depending on your preferences.

On request, we can also include a traditional lunch in a local off the beaten path authentic eatery where you can also see how local dishes are prepared. After booking we will be in contact to ask you your preferences, and we can help you decide also with any extra information you need. TOUR DURATION: You can select a 2, 3 or 4 hour tour duration. A 2-hr Tour is suitable for one Major site such as the Acropolis for example. A 3-hr Tour is suitable for several large sites. A 4 hr Tour is suitable for 3 or more or for example, for one larger site like the Acropolis and several smaller sites, and depending on the particular distances and specific sites you choose.

As the main marketplace it was where people gathered, as well as the site where western democracy and many areas of Philosophy were developed. The Agora was the heart of ancient Athens' democracy, where citizens participated directly in government and principles like meritocracy and equality before the law were established during the 5th century BCE.

  • Acropolis (Pass by)

    Focus of life in Ancient Athens & surrounded by its amazing cyclopean' wall, built by the Mycenean's thousands of years ago. The Acropolis is home to the Parthenon, but also many other amazing monuments. You will first enter through the giant ‘Propylaia’ behind which once stood a gold encrusted statue of the Goddess Athena. You will also see the Temple of Athena Nike (or 'Viktory') from 420 BC before other important sites such as the mythical Erechtheion, unique in its construction with its iconic statues of the Caryatids, and the World’s oldest Theatre of Dionysus from the 6th Century BC, which would have seen the very first performances of ancient plays by Sophocles and Euripides among others. The impressive & fully renovated Roman theater, Herodius Atticus, completed in AD 161, also in the site, was dedicated to the wife of a rich benefactor and still hosts a vibrant public summer program.
