Exclusive to your group alone, spend 3 days touring one of the most beautiful locations in Greece on a journey through the olive groves, orchards and blue Aegean views of the famous Peloponnese countryside as we visit the many sites of the Peloponnese including the Corinth Canal, Ancient Corinth, Mycenae & Epidaurus before settling in to enjoy the Venetian gem that is Nafplio. On our second day we visit the amazing rock city of Monemvasia. and finally the UNESCO site of Ancient Mystras and Sparta before our return.

1Argolis Region
After heading towards the Peloponnese we enter in the region of Corinth stopping at the Corinth Canal and Ancient Corinth, before continuing to Argolis with its may amazing Archeaological and UNESCO sites stopping at Mycenae and Epidaurus.

2Nafplio
A perfect place to end after the many sites of the day. Relax in the evening in this Venetian city with a stroll along the seafront and the beautifully preserved medieval old town with its many arts & craft shops.

3Monemvasia
In the afternoon we finally come to Monemvasia. or 'The Gibraltar of the East'. Sitting on a plateau 100 meters above sea level you will find a remarkable walled city, constructed and added to by the Byzantines, Venetians and Ottomans until its liberation in the Greek War of Independence in the early 19th century. Originally only reachable by ship, we can now traverse the long narrow causeway onto the rock & up to the imposing walled entrance where we must continue on foot into the old and well preserved city, a delight and a living history in which to wander with its twisting labyrinthine streets, heritage buildings, multi coloured bougainvillea covered guesthouses and sea views. For our accommodation we choose one of the best preserved and renovated examples of the many old stone 'Captains mansions'

4Mystras
After breakfast we head to north to visit the 800 year old ruins of the Medieval city & UNESCO site of Mystras, once seat of Byzantine power in the region & replete with palaces, residences, mansions, churches and monasteries, water & drainage works, commercial workshops, extensive streets & fortifications. Take your time exploring this extensive site before leaving for nearby Sparta.

5Sparta
Home to the mythical city state of Ancient Sparta & their fearsome warriors our visit to the city presents us with less danger in modern times apart from navigating the ancient ruins and museum, or finding the perfect lunch spot in this now peaceful town which can have a surprisingly off the beaten track feel. You can also visit the local olive oil museum on request. After taking the time to visit we finally bid farewell for our return to Athens.
