1Ancient Corinth (Archaia Korinthos)
After crossing into the Peloponnese, our first main stop explores the beautifully preserved remains of Ancient Corinth, one of Greece’s most powerful and influential city-states of Antiquity. Stroll through the streets, temples, markets, and fountains in the footsteps of the Classical Greeks, Ancient Romans & St. Paul before you. Refreshments & rest stops are also on hand at the local Cafes at its entrance if needed.

2Mycenae
Next we come to the imposing remains of Ancient Mycenae, one of the most important sites in the development of Ancient Greece. Home to the citadel of the legendary Agamemnon, leader of the Greeks during the Trojan War. The ‘Mycenaean period,’ from 1600 to 1100 BC, references this ancient city, indicating its importance in Greek civilization. Pass through the 20-foot-wide city walls, enter the Lion’s Gate to Agamemnon’s throne room, and explore the very buildings of his palace. You will also have a short sopt nearby for the awe inspiring treasury of Atreus and ample time to visit the modern on-site museum housing the many precious artefacts uncovered from the site.

3Nafplio
Our next destination of the day finds the Venetian seaside town of Nafplion with its extensive castle & Venetian streets full of local arts & craft shops to explore. Take a short water taxi to Bourtzi Castle n the bay & enjoy dinner & a stroll along the marina lined with its palm trees cafes & restaurants. This is a perfect place to enjoy your evening with a rich choice of boutique-type local craft shops, Cafes and Restaurants located along the waterfront and in amongst the small charming streets underneath the shadow of its Byzantine hilltop Castle.

4Mycenae
The UNESCO-listed Sanctuary of Asklepios was the first healing centre of the Ancient World and here we also find the impressive Theatre of Epidaurus, one of the most visited ancient sites in Greece. The temple and theatre date from the 4th century and feature masterpieces of classical Greek architecture. Join the other visitors who test its world-famous acoustics with a poem or a song.

After enjoying Epidaurus your journey through the olive groves & orchards of the Southern Peloponnese continues until you reach the port and short 20-minute ferry crossing to the Island of Spetses where you will find your Hotel in walk of the main port with your evening free to enjoy the Town. Spetses has no vehicles but the main town is easily explored on foot or by horse carriage.

6Hydra Town
On your next day, you will have a ferry booked to Hydra around lunchtime with a 1 hour crossing time. On arrival, our local Guide will meet you to assist with Hotel Check-in and provide a walking tour of the main sites where you will learn of the History and Culture of this wonderful Island before having free time in the afternoon to relax & enjoy the location.

7Hydra Town
Your final morning is unhurried as your ferry will not be scheduled until lunchtime when your ferry will return you directly to the Athens port of Piraeus (1 hour sailing time) where your driver will be waiting for you to take you to any onward Athens address as required.
