We’ll pick you up right from your hotel in Cairo for an exciting day exploring the famous sites of El Fayoum! It’s about a 95 km drive from Cairo to Fayoum. Get ready for a full-day safari in our comfortable 4WD as tour around wadi Rayan, which has been a Protected Area since 1989. Our adventure begins in the beautiful Wadi El Rayan, recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site thanks to the amazing 40-million-year-old whale skeletons found there. On the way to the stunning Wadi El Rayan Waterfalls, we’ll stop at the Magic Lake, where you’ll have the chance to try sandboarding down the dunes, and then we’ll visit Mudawara Mountain. After that, we’ll head to the breathtaking Wadi El Rayan Waterfalls. Wadi El Rayan is a natural depression in the western desert, featuring two lakes joined by Egypt’s only waterfalls, created in 1970 from overflow water from Fayoum’s farmlands. To top off the day, you will have the option of getting delicious BBQ lunch in the charming village of Tunis.

2Wadi El-Rayan
The Wadi El Rayan reserve consists of seven parts; the upper and lower Lakes , El Rayan springs, El Rayan Falls, El Modawara Mountain (or Jabal El Modawara in Arabic), El Rayan Mountain (Jabal El Rayan) and Wadi El Hitan (The Valley of the Whales). All these areas are full of amazing landscapes such as oases, mountains, rock formations and waterfalls.

3Tunis
The small village of Tunis (‘izbat Tunis) is located in the oasis of Fayoum , on the way to Wadi Rayan. Located on a hill facing a large salt water lake, the village overlooks a stunning view of the edge of the desert on the other side of the lake. It is one of the most beautiful places in Egypt. we will have chance to visit and have our BBQ lunch over there
