Walk the city walls of Cartagena with our special audio tour and commentary provided by the voice of Antonio Arévalo, one of its creators. You'll start at the bastion of San Pedro Martir and see the fortress of San Felipe from afar. Your narrator will explain the reasons why these great fortresses and the different elements of colonial military technology that made them the best defensive weapon against pirate attacks for centuries. You will pass by the old bullring of Serrezuela and the bastion of St. Lucas and St. Catalina. You'll hear about the colonial-era water reserves that were built inside the fortress. The tour ends with an entertaining quiz where you can test your newly acquired knowledge. And if you are lucky, you can visit the cistern with special 3D sound effects. This tour can be done independently of the Cartagena Fortress: The Rise of the Wall part II.
