The sand dunes of Sossusvlei in the Namib Desert are often referred to as the highest dunes in the world.
Rise very early in the morning before sunrise to visit the spectacular dunes at Sossusvlei, reputedly the highest sand dunes in the world. If you're feeling energetic you can climb to the top of dune 45 (100 meters) or big daddy dune (350 meters).
Sandwich Harbour, part of the Namib Naukluft Park, it's a place many have heard of but very few have ever visited. Giant sand dunes run straight into the ocean, creating breathtaking sceneries and unique landscapes, just waiting to be discovered! An included activity of either Kayaking or Marine Cruise tour.
Etosha National Park is one of Southern Africa's finest and most important Game Reserves. Etosha’s charm lies in its ability to bring the animals to you.
Travel along the vast salt pan, stopping at various waterholes and game viewing spots along the way in the park. As you continue to your overnight stop you're certain to see plenty of wildlife and eerily beautiful scenery.
After breakfast we exit the park on our way to Windhoek, we continue on a good road and we have time to stop in Okahandja town, home to Namibia’s largest woodcarving market. The stalls are operated on a co-operative basis by the local community and the market is a perfect place to do last minute shopping for truly Namibian souvenirs. We aim to arrive back in the Capital in the mid-noon and you will be dropped off at the accommodation or to Hosea Kutako International Airport for your outbound flight.
