Al-Muizz li-Din Allah al-Fatimi Street, is a major north-to-south street in the walled city of historic Cairo, Egypt. It is one of Cairo's oldest streets as it dates back to the foundation of the city (not counting the earlier Fustat) by the Fatimid dynasty in the 10th century, under their fourth caliph, Al-Mu'izz li-Din Allah (after whom the street is named).
It is Egypt's most famous market. Located in the heart of Islamic Cairo, near the Medieval walled city of the Saladin Citadel, the Khan el-Khalili market was built on the old burial site of the Fatimid Caliphs, who founded Cairo in the 10th century.
Cairo Tower is an important tourist world. It was built between 1956 and 1961. Cairo Tower was built out of concrete iron and it has the shape of the famous Lotus plant where ancient Egyptians used to produce papyrus. It is located in the middle of Cairo at the edge of Zamalek Island.
