See the best of Athens and the Temple of Poseidon in one easy private day.
Your driver meets you at your hotel, apartment or cruise ship in an air-conditioned Mercedes with Wi-Fi and bottled water. The morning starts at the Acropolis: the Parthenon, the Erechtheion with its Caryatids and the Temple of Athena Nike. See the Temple of Olympian Zeus, Hadrian's Arch, the marble Panathenaic Stadium of the 1896 Olympics and the Evzones guards at Parliament.
In the afternoon, follow the Athenian Riviera past Glyfada, Vouliagmeni and Varkiza, stop at turquoise Lake Vouliagmeni, and end at Cape Sounion, where the Temple of Poseidon stands on a cliff above the Aegean. There's time for lunch at a seaside taverna.
It's just your group and your driver, so linger or skip stops. Drivers don't guide inside the sites. Licensed guides are optional, available upon request for an additional fee, and subject to availability: choose the guide option for 3 hours at the Acropolis and Acropolis Museum.
What's Included
Meeting and pickup
We pick you up from any hotel or apartment in central Athens, or from Piraeus port. Cruise passengers are met at the ship. After booking, please send your hotel name and address, or for cruise pickup: the ship's name, arrival time and the time you must be back on board. At the end of the day we drop you back at your hotel, apartment or ship. Airport pickup is available on request for an extra charge.
